Howdy all!  I've been curious as to how i can make sure that my TCL 4K 55" tv has all of it's components and electrical pathways are as new. I would deeply appreciate it, even more, if there might be anything else that can be checked. i.e. Those free floating crystals embeded in the screen.  If you know exactly what must be done.. I'm all ears!  Or, rather, "eyes!" :D

Need to "translate" a few square wave signal voltages from ~3.8vdc to between 5-24 vdc with low slew rate at around 25khz.  A similar chip exists for converting 5v signals to arduino level (3.3) but i need to go the other way.
This is needed because the board I am using only outputs this lower voltage and that is below the lowest voltage guaranteed to work on the device that needs to see it.

Hello all,

I have this really decent USB wireless digital mic device:
Samson XPD1 Lavalier USB Digital Wireless System https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014803CMK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_QzIvCbSJBBCRN

It works great with my computer, but I’d love to adopt this to also work with my DSLR camera.

I figured that I could build an interface to provide 5vdc to the USB based transmitter and extract analog audio with an D/A converter. But I’m currently um... lazy er... too busy at this time. LOL

Can anyone suggest a ready to purchase adapter that can do this?

Thank you,
Shawn

Hi,

We are looking for a security camera that can alert the user if motion is detected and does not take up much bandwidth.

We have Nest cameras which are on 24/7 but the problem is that they take up a lot of bandwidth.

Here is my criteria for the camera we are looking for:

- Less than €100
- Does not constantly take up bandwidth 24/7; only uses bandwidth for tasks such as notification sending, if user wishes to access pictures taken by the camera, etc.
- Does not need a subscription
- Can send a message to a person's phone when motion detected or when the camera sees someone
- Released in the past 2 years or more recently

What would be recommended as the best security camera with the above criteria?

Thanks,
Robbie

Hello Experts

There has been a lot of talk around electronic tattoos. Companies like Cellotape Smart Technology and DuoSkin are promoting these products. However, I can’t find a single outlet that is actually selling them.

Can someone let me know where these electric tattoos are actually being sold?

Thanks

I currently use Apple Magic Trackpad with a Lenovo 8" tablet (Android 5.1) for a customized field Astronomy setup. I'm looking for a very specific size and resolution (7.75" to 8",  1024x768 ) to replace the current tablet, but have found that Apple Magic Trackpad compatibility is spotty at best. Compatibility varies not just within versions of Android but also within point versions and also manufacturers. I'm trying to find a method to predict Bluetooth Apple Magic Trackpad compatibility within a certain device without having to actually have the device in my possession to test it. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hi,

I am a business person who works from home.

I am looking for a TV to use for TV/ Home Cinema and PC usage.

80% of the time this TV is used by my family for TV/ Home Cinema usage.

20% of the time this TV is used for PC usage.

I have been considering the FW-75XE9001 75" BRAVIA 4K HDR Professional Display.

I suppose any new TV would do for PC usage such as Ms Office, Internet, Video Conferencing etc., so what I am particularly interested in is getting the highest quality picture possible for the "Home Cinema" experience.

Thank you for your thoughts.

Robbie

My daughter's kindle has an sd card. It says that pictures, videos and books will store on the sd card but they're taking up a lot of space in her internal memory. I have it set to store everything on the sd card that the kindle will allow and yet, I'm constantly having storage issues.

I was wondering if someone here knows if it's possible to play the contents of a directory on a USB on a Sony Bravia TV. So far I've only been able to play one video file at a time.

I've searched around and the best I could find was someone recommending an external video player but I was wondering if the functionality was available in the TV itself.

If it is possible, my next question would be if you can also play all files in a loop.

Thanks in advance.

I am curious if anyone has experience with this model. Is there any reason that the device would work with a CICSO CP8945 telephone but not work with the Shoretel 560?  We have several that do function properly so I configured all of the switches and dials on this one exactly the same.

I reset the device and then paired again.  It does take the phone off hook and back on hook using the button but there is no audio and the microphone does not appear to work.   I also connected my working headset to an analog phone and heard dial tone, but the same connection did not work with the Cisco headset.

I was wondering if there might be a version unique to the Cisco phones.
