For those of you who don't believe in climate change and think it's a hoax, can you explain your reasoning? I truly am interested in hearing points of views from the other side (I believe in it based upon all of the independent studies I've come across). I'm not trying to start a flame war here, I am legitimately interested in hearing peoples opinions.

Let's try to keep this civil and discuss in an orderly manner :)

Free Tool: Subnet Calculator

The subnet calculator helps you design networks by taking an IP address and network mask and returning information such as network, broadcast address, and host range.

One of a set of tools we're offering as a way of saying thank you for being a part of the community.

MQ: Bank it or not to bank?

Or "To bank or not to bank", that is the question.

For alternative: substitute use of some 'credit card'

For another alternative, given consumer desire to limit and reduce governmental oversight, is this an area to permit/encourage oversight?

                 <see link below>

Item:  While formally banks found to provide interest rates to consumers up to 5.0000% they have declined to range of .0001% to .0003%.

Item: At a prior time of credit cards reaching 25% government stepped in to fix/limit amounts permitted.

Item: Many consumers refuse to use banks, period. They may have own safe.

This ought to be found to reduce circulation of funds, adversely impacting economy. It also ought to be found to limit bank capability to support local loans. This would adversely impact the 'ma & pa' shops' ability to compete with national chains as well as ability to offer more economical student loans.

Item: Wells Fargo now 'caught' abusing consumers after 'purchasing' a number of other banks.

° Why store credit cards can be a really bad deal

USA Today › story › money › 2016/11/01  - Mark Grandstaff for USA TODAY  November 1, 2016

" CreditCards.com found store cards charge an average interest rate of 23.84%, compared with the 15.18% national average for all other credit cards. Some store cards charge even more, like Big Lots (29.99%), Zales (29.24%) and Staples (28.24%)."

Inflation may not be best choice for economy.

MQ: Do offer some pro/con and recommend how to address inflation of wages earned.

Personally, am flip-flopping (changing of opinions) between alternatives in need of gathering information.

Commentary for Press Piece: Issues to watch during this election cycle  -  was deleted as I was in the middle of posting a thought.  It wasn't important but someone was asking for an opinion so I offered one.

Apparently, someone didn't agree with me or someone else (we'll never know) because the law of Political Correctness says - if someone objects - OFF WITH THEIR HEAD!!!!!  SHUT DOWN THE DISCUSSION!!!!!  WE CAN'T TALK ABOUT IT IF I DON'T AGREE WITH WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING!!!!!  It doesn't matter if the discussion was civil or not.  Someone thought we shouldn't talk about it so instead of walking away and not participating - THEY VIOLATED MY FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS AND SHUT DOWN THE WHOLE CONVERSATION.

Political Correctness has not made this world a better place.  All it does is to shut down discourse.  You people are killing the First Amendment and you don't even understand how important it is to you.

Given the current media frenzy for 'measles' quips & sound bites by talking heads, I suggest the EE experts get to weigh in, so, what is your opinion:

MQ: What vaccine(s) should be made mandatory?

Rand Paul's Vaccine Comments Are Latest Chapter In 136-Year-Old Debate

what most public health experts would consider highly misleading:

I don't think there is anything extraordinary about resorting to freedom. I'll give you a good example. The Hepatitis B vaccine is now given to newborns. We sometimes give five and six vaccines all at one time. I chose to have mine delayed. I don't want the government telling me that I have to give my newborn Hepatitis B vaccine, which is transmitted by sexually transmitted disease and/or blood transfusions. Do I ultimately think it is a good idea? Yeah. And so I had mine staggered over several months. I have heard of many tragic cases of walking, talking normal children who wound up with profound mental disorders after vaccines. I'm not arguing vaccines are a bad idea. I think they are a good thing, but I think the parent should have some input. The state doesn't own your children. Parents own the children. And it is an issue of freedom and public health.

Paul, on the air, …

MQ:  Should abortion be permitted in case of rape, incest, or health of mother?

- optionally (hopefully?) any of:

Define Rape?
Define Incest?
Define Health?
Define pain felt by fetus?

Should an incest exclusion be permitted, should it only apply to a minor? Or child. What about for the severely mentally handicapped? Or for those having serious genetic disease (parent or fetus)?

[- noting that States already define incest different from one another]

GOP Leaders Pull Abortion Bill After Revolt by Women, Moderates
http://www.nationaljournal.com/congress/gop-leaders-pull-abortion-bill-after-revolt-by-women-moderates-20150121 - January 21, 2015 -

That drew excoriation from rank-and-file women, who were concerned that the bill's rape clause would have a chilling effect on women reporting rapes and livid that they were not consulted before the objectionable clause concerning the rape exception was added into the base text of the bill.

Bowing to the wishes of several moderates and women members, House Republican leaders pulled a controversial antiabortion bill from consideration late Wednesday night, a move sure to enrage antiabortion activists, who will descend on Capitol Hill Thursday for their annual March for Life.

Fed court revives KBR electrocution suit
http://archive.armytimes.com/article/20130801/NEWS/308010035/Fed-court-revives-KBR-electrocution-suit - By Joe Mandak - The Associated Press - Aug. 1, 2013

PITTSBURGH — A federal appeals court revived a lawsuit Thursday against a military contractor in the death of a Pittsburgh-area soldier who was electrocuted in his barracks shower at an Army base in Iraq.

In dismissing the lawsuit last year, U.S. District Judge Nora Barry Fischer found that "As a contractor, KBR had no authority to order military personnel to do anything, including to direct soldiers where to live or shower."

The high court offered no comment Tuesday in allowing three lawsuits against KBR Inc. over the electrocution and open-air burn pits in Iraq and Afghanistan to proceed.

The suit alleges a KBR unit was legally responsible for what it says was shoddy electrical work common in Iraqi-built structures taken over by the U.S. military.

Dozens of lawsuits by soldiers and others assert they were harmed by improper waste disposal while serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. They seek to hold
