A presentation program is a software package used to display information in the form of a slide show. It has three major functions: an editor that allows text to be inserted and formatted, a method for inserting and manipulating graphic images, and a slide-show system to display the content. Presentation program is supposed to help both the speaker with an easier access to his ideas and the participants with visual information which complements the talk.

Hello,

we are redoing a conference room and I am looking very hard at a device by BARCO (CS-100) to allow presenters to wirelessly display to an HD TV Monitor.   Does anyone have any experience with this device and if it works well.  Looking for something that presenters that come in with a tablet or laptop whether it is Windows 10 or 7 (or even a MAC) can show their presentation.

Also - wondering if there is a way in our city council chambers to have a presentation viewable on each council members' laptop or ipad?  IS there such a way to do this wirelessly?

THanks

Check which ports are open to the outside world. Helps make sure that your firewall rules are working as intended.

One of a set of tools we are providing to everyone as a way of saying thank you for being a part of the community.

We are looking for a solution to where we can present power points to multiple tablet style devices without having to use wifi.

In an ideal scenario we would have a sales person head to a client site, hand out tablets to the attendees and then present a power point from a master device to the attendees devices. I have no preference in devices so apple, android and windows are all acceptable.

We would like to not have to rely on an internet connection or using WiFi if possible. If we must we could always setup a wireless network without an internet connection but these are sales people and they may struggle.

(I know the following question is all over the internet, but I have a very limited time to make some decisions, so I'm going to ask this before doing due diligence via google. I assume the following is called either a webcast , or  streaming video, or  wirecast -- you tell me pls.)
_____

I have a client who is going to create a powerpoint slideshow with audio clips for each slide. When it's done, we want to send a small group of ppl (20-50) an email with a link.  The link is to view a one-time pre-recorded video presentation (which can only be watched once, at one specific date and time). There's NO PRESENTER and no viewer interaction.

Since the presentation contains sensitive info, we want these conditions:
1) only those who have the link can see the video / presentation
2) it starts at time X and ends at time Y, so if you login at X:15 you'll miss 15 mins
3) we want to miminize ppls ability to "download it", by streaming, whatever technology (if that's still a relevant concept). But if that requires "extraordinary measures" we'll go with whatever's traditional.

Am I on the right track to be googling "how to webcast"?  That seems to lead either to "webinar" FAQs, or else to "do it yourself" broadcasts.  And websites like GoToWebinar and AnyMeeting seem to be about meetings, not one time streamed presentations.

Ideally I'd like to create a movie file out of the powerpoint file (w audio clips), upload it to some website (either free or pay), and they give me …
