Productivity software is application software dedicated to producing information, such as documents, presentations, worksheets, databases, charts, graphs, digital paintings, electronic music and digital video. Most common programs and suites such as Microsoft Office and LibreOffice have their own topics. Office suites, which brought word processing, spreadsheet, and relational database programs to the desktop in the 1980s, are the core example of productivity software, but they can include communications software, personal information managers, groupware and log analysis software.

Hi, i've been using Trello a lot lately and i'm considering moving everything over from Evernote to Trello. Like many others on here, productivity and organisation are key to me.

While there is no right or wrong answer to my question(s), I would like to hear what other people's thoughts and setup are, in relation tot he following:

01 - when you have a list of items or tasks... how do you define whether you should add them as 'multiple cards on a list' or 'add all of the items as a checklist to one card' :-)

02 - has anyone else moved their notes from Evernote to Trello... how did you find the change?

03 - any regrets or dislikes with Trello

Thank you in advance for your help.

Anyone know a program or Dialing system for making interviews over phone.
Like a system or program that you can make interview questions flows easy. Then save the statistics for later review or send them to a partner.
Either you have a interview system than a Dialer separated they don't need to be combine into one.

I am trying to setup a remote probe but it does not connect to the core server. I have a sonicwall router behind my network.

In the core server I set the following
Probe Connection IPs; All IPs available on this computer
Allow IPs; the ip of the remote network
Mini Probes; Allow Mini Probes to connect to the web server
Access Type; Use the PRTG core service account (usually LOCAL SYSTEM)

On the remote probe I set the following
Server; my external IP
Copied the Access Key from the server to the remote.

It does not show up on the server core

I need a detailed step by step process for installing snmp agent on both centos and debian. I am using prtg and of course, their instructions, as well as any i have found on the internet do not yield the desired results.

I dont really care about limiting this to ip addresses, but i could if it makes this easier.

I realize i have to insall snmp, edit the snmpd.conf file, edit the iptables, minimizing logging and who knows what else as despite following steps laid out, i cannot get any snmp readings.

Many of my servers are on virtual on a vmware host, as i would like to monitor them (2) as well.

I also have Mikrotik routers, and monitoring their snmp activiites as high cpu is a big red flag for several reasons.

So far I have tried several free appliances for Hyper-V and open source solutions that I hit a road block. Tried some free solarwinds stuff - limits the number of devices, VeeamOne is great but you have to pay to get email alerting, Centreon and Zabbix you pretty much need to be a developer. Using GrayLog right now for Syslogs and it is okay. But again this all is all tough with no budget because I am not much of a programmer. Any ideas?

We have Adobe Acrobat DC Pro but the editing tools are grayed out and so we can't edit PDF documents with it. Any ideas on what the problem might be?

Hello all, I'm Looking for an Internal Employee Supply Order Management Software, I would prefer it to be open source, or low cost, doesn't matter I just need some type of web based system that my employees can log into and order supplies for their department, like a roll of tape, or more paper, etc.. you get the picture, and if at all possible allow me to add and restrict items that can be ordered depending on their department, also once an order is approved(ordered), I would like to attach a tracking number from whatever shipper I use (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc..), then once it is delivered the system automatically updates and lets me (facility manager) and the employee that ordered it know via email.

Is there something like this out there?

Thank you for reading!
Kind Regards,
-Sean D.

I am setting up a help desk ticketing system and we would like to be able to pass the incoming phone number into the system.  We are using Cisco Call Manager( I can get the version if It is needed).  What I need is a program that will run on the help desk technicians computer that will pass the incoming phone number into our ticketing system.  It does this by running a command line "program.exe 999-999-9999" it then opens up a windows that has the information for the incoming call.  I have talked with our phone department and all they will say is I will have to write a program to do it.  No guidance on where to look or what commands I have to do.  This seems like something that people would want to do so I would think there must be something written already that will accomplish this.  Can somebody point me in a direction to pursue?

Thanks

Dan

Is there an easy to use manual for Dbase5 (sample code would be nice).  The 5 manuals that came with the product are quite cumbersome.

I currently use Adobe FormsCentral to create fillable PDF forms to be used offline. I work in a client services office, and we email the form to our clients, who in turn complete the PDF, save, and email back to us. FormsCentral has a really great drag and drop forms creator, but sadly is going to be retired in June.  Any suggestions where I can build forms using a template/drag and drop application to create forms and save as a fillable PDF?  I’m not looking for anything with web-based submission or database. I’m simply looking for an easy way to make attractive forms that can be easily be turned into a fillable PDF.

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone out there has had any success in setting up PRTG Network Monitoring (Paessler) to report against Symantec System Recovery job success and failure processes?

Enabling SNMP in System Recovery does not appear to send any traps to the system. I can see traps generated by other software, but not by System Recovery

We're now looking at Event Log monitoring, but Symantec logs all events as ID 100 (Success, Fail, Service Restart, Service Stop, etc.). This means we are currently looking at using text based queries within the Event Logs, which is not ideal.

Hoping someone out there has had more success...
