Microsoft Access Query is Corrupt Error 3340
Earlier this week, Microsoft released several Security Updates that caused update queries in Microsoft Access database applications and programs storing data in Microsoft Access databases to fail.

An erroneous Query is Corrupt message appears.

Affected Programs
This impacts
  • Microsoft Access 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019 and Office 365
  • 32 and 64 bit versions of Access
  • Applications that use the Access Database Engine (ACE) such as those written in Visual Studio .NET, VB6, and even web solutions that update Access databases.

Detailed Article with Multiple Workaround Suggestions
Our customers encountered this confusing error, and our team investigated and published an article to explain the issue and how to mitigate it. Microsoft announced they will fixed this in the next security update in December. That's hardly acceptable for applications that were running perfectly fine on Monday. Hope this helps.

DJoin

DJoinAs you can union records, you can join field values. Presented here, DJoin offers increased speed and flexibility compared to the ancient ConcactRelated and similar functions. Further, it offers better read-out of Multi-Value fields.

My latest article:

Join (concat) values from one field from a table or query

@Beete,

sometimes it may not be clear in the user interface, but you selected to make a post rather than ask a question. Posts are usually used as informative pieces of information you wish to share with others in the community.  But what you are looking for is "Ask a question", so I suggest you copy the text of your post and submit it as a question.  You might also want to consider adding the type of database you are working with in the topics section, because the syntax can vary widely from one database to another.

This is a basic sp but it returns a 1 properly but will not return anything when the statement is true. I'm sure my null trapping is not correct. Also not sure I dealt with the output parameter correctly in terms of how I set it equal to the case statement.
@pi_enterprise_id  CHAR(5),
@pi_practice_id  CHAR(4),
@txt_pregnum            INT,
@problem                  VARCHAR (150),
@pi_cur_person_id  UNIQUEIDENTIFIER,
@datefield            VARCHAR(10) OUTPUT
)
AS

select  @datefield = (CASE WHEN (datefield is null or datefield = '') then '2'
ELSE '1'
END)
from ob_problem_list_
where person_id = @pi_cur_person_id
and pregnum = @txt_pregnum
and problem = @problem
and cpsp_problem_indicator = 'Y'

I've a stored procedure SP1 built. It has 8 columns n 6 rows. I also created a table T1 with exact 8 columns as SP1 and this table is empty. How do I insert 6 rows from SP1 into T1? Does the insert statement need to be inside the stored proc SP1 or can be it a separate query?
