The update has already been downloaded. Just click on Install Now. The new update will work with your current Server Manager (assuming it to be V2017)

You should ask this in Q&A as there is no value to any of us in answering your posts.

It seems I should explain what meant my sentence "Public forum is not good place to ask questions like this."...

QuickBooks is a paid software installed in a company which must have some policies about updates and upgrades. Such updates should not be allowed to users which do not know how to handle them.  How such user can recognize what is installing, what software displays the message and what to do at all?

To simply tell "Install it" just because the dialog window in the question is similar to the one displayed by the paid product can install whatever the attacker needs on your computer! Any click on your computer is at your own risk. Even the internet Ad closing by the X button can do unpredictable things...

Following is derived for the person which has computer background and which maintains software installations in your company/branch:

The first place where to ask is QuickBooks support (https://community.intuit.com/products/quickbooks-help-en-us). They surely know the answer and you've prepaid your questions already.

The second place is regular question here as Brian B proposed. Go to https://www.experts-exchange.com/askQuestion.jsp and ask the question again.  DON'T FORGET to add  QuickBooks as the Topic and don't forget to add whether you are sure the dialog is from the QuickBooks software.

Cloud Class® Course: Microsoft Windows 7 Basic

This introductory course to Windows 7 environment will teach you about working with the Windows operating system. You will learn about basic functions including start menu; the desktop; managing files, folders, and libraries.

When a customer asks you for something try to your best to understand what exactly he wants to accomplish and not really on what he says he wants, be clear with him what this will be used for before you make a recommendation, take your time, and discuss. for example a client ask me for a NAS drive so he can have all file in his office in a central location and all his staff can access it. Then he calls up that he moved his quickbooks file to the NAS drive and quickbooks does not work, of course it does work, quickbook needs its network manager installed in the same place where the file is and the network manager is a windows based application not Linux. Then he wanted his ticketing program file on the NAS, again sql is not supported on a Linux, would I know more details I would recommend him one model higher than the one I gave him which support a vm where he would be able to have a window machine on.

hm. does it support iSCSI?, then you can store data on the NAS while the processing is on one "server" outside of the box...
Sometimes  think out of the box.

Quickbooks Scam

I had a client ask about using Quickbooks in multiple locations. My suggestion is to use the web version for eas of use and you get at least 3 user accounts vs having to buy multiple licensees for the desktop version.

Just as I walked into the office I was told Quickbooks had already called in and was remoting in and working on it.  I asked my client which version and he was not sure.  I went to the computer and saw a big string of pings going through the command prompt.  Suspiciously, I  Jumped on the Teamviewer chat and asked if they are migrating to the web version or using the desktop. The "tech" asked if he could call me directly.  His voice was very hurried with a heavy accent and said if we went to the web version, payroll wouldn't work.  I know that is not correct and this didn't feel right and I asked if I could call him right back at the same time I ended the TV session.

Called into Intuit to verify and at the same time saw two payments from some electronic payment company that was not Intuit. One for $449.99 the other $999.99.  Both were for "Tech support" and not an actual product.

I explained to my client he had been scammed.  In his email, I saw there was a password recovery. I asked if he gave out his password to the "tech".  Of course he did.  I had him change his password for his email account and quickbooks.  Next call was to the credit card company.  Right away there is a recording, "It looks like there are fraudulent …

Thanks for sharing.  Unfortunately, these fraud events happen more than we can imagine.  We need to be always on alert.
