Hello All,

My company is looking into Migrating from Dynamics SL2015 to QuickBooks. I want to find a company, or individual that could help with the process. Hopefully someone that can remotely look at what we have to identify what needs to be migrated, as well as do the migration for us. Therefore, I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction, or could suggest someone that could help with this?

The customer is having issues with a single customer in her QB Pro 2015.  When she goes to apply a payment against an invoice, she see's multiple (7) instances of the same customer name and all have the same invoice number (amongst others).  When she tries to apply a payment against it, it won't allow it.
No error message is provided.

I had her try to merge them into one in the Customer Center, but as they all have the same name, that didn't work.

Pro is running on a server and the work file is shared between two people at their desktop.
Both systems running Win 10.

Any ideas?
Thank you.
Trying to import a Purchase Order from Google Sheets into Quickbooks Desktop. I found an IIF Template but it is very hard to look at and make sense of it all. Does anyone have a Purchase Order Template that will work with Quickbooks?
I am replacing a server for a small office.  The server currently houses Quickbooks and allows 3 users in the office to access QB at the same time.  That server acts as a file depot for their flat file system.  The plan is to get rid of the server.  The flat file system will move nicely into Sharepoint via O365, but I'm not sure what to do about QB.

The server is old, runs 2008 R2 and needs to go.  I'd hate to put another server in there just for QB access.

Going to QB online isn't something we want to do.  Have had too many bad experiences with that in the past.

Any suggestions on how to keep using QB desktop (with multi user access) & also get rid of the server?

I was doing a QuickBooks Enterprise Update from version 17.0 to 20.0. I have 5 PC's in my office that use QuickBooks and from those 3 PC's were updates successfully and 2 gave the error as shown in picture. The 3 those were updated were Windows 7 and other two were Windows 10 PC's. On research and after calling their tech support, found that QuickBooks was not compatible with .Net framework 4.8 and the 2 Windows 10 PC only had .Net framework 4.8. Looked for ways to remove .Net framework 4.8 and install the earlier version like 4.7. But I was not able to remove it.

It would be great if anyone can help me with this error.QB-Reconfigure-Error.JPG

Appreciate any info or insight that is provided

My company has about 50 users and we feel it is the time for a sever and NAS system for our office. Large file editing and running adobe software for media team, quickbooks and other financials, a VPN for our security cameras with the NAS system for store.

I have been looking into https://www.synology.com/en-us/products/DS1819+ For a NAS system. Looking at HP or Cisco for servers. Does any one have any experience with these amount of users and this hardware. Also, will need a server that scales into the future. Is a huge rack server the solution? Please let me know if anyone has thoughts. Thank you.
Clients gets randomly error H202 in Quickbooks. The users are in single user mode. Restarting the server resolves the issue. How to fix this error permanently?
When I try to connect to my quickbooks file, I receive this message:
the user name admin is not a recognized user
I have a client with Quickbooks 2018  . They have been using it for 10 years now. They want to create a QB file that has the data only for the past 3 years. Any way that can be done. I have tried the Condense option under utilities and not working. It still shows data from years before when you do profit lost statment or anything else.
I recently began doing contract work for a small company with offices at 2 locations.  Their server (Windows Server 2012 r2) is at one location and contains their QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise company files.  The remote location accesses the server data via VPN through their firewalls.  QuickBooks is extremely slow over VPN.  Their solution was to use Teamviewer and have each person connect to a computer at the local location to work on QuickBooks.  They have 4 remote QuickBooks users, so 4 computers are tied up.

They recently tried using a hosted environment and everyone would do a remote desktop session to it and work.  The local users didn't like that since it added steps to their process.  The remote users loved it.

Why can't I create a "hosted environment" on their server?  4 virtual desktops they could connect to simultaneously.  Does anyone have any other ideas, suggestions, and instructions on doing something like this?  They all have windows computers and are all on one workgroup.  They do not have PRO software.
In a work environment where the client is using Mozilla Thunderbird version 60.5.0 (32-bit) in conjunction with Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise Solutions Manufacturing and Wholesale version 2019, emails are sent out to vendors with purchase orders.  The client would like to have his Mozilla Thunderbird present a receipt to his computer with the Thunderbird installation when the message is opened or better yet read.  Is there a setting and where within Mozilla Thunderbird 60.5.0 would provide the best solution to get a verification from the vendor upon receipt of the email as sometimes emails are in some occasions are assumed sent, a purchase order that is assumed attached doesn't get sent for some reason or the email isn't received.

..or is there another third party solution.
how do I add the 30, 60, 90 days past due amounts on the bottom of the customer invoice?
I am using the quickbooks online. Thanks.
I have seven years of GP data that I want to export to QBES.  Any suggestions?
Is there a way to export or copy the Windows 7 Windows Explorer Favorites to Windows 10 Quick Access in File Explorer?

I looked online, but not finding anything.
This is a long shot since it involves a little used application but I have a customer who is desperate.  He has a Server 2008 R2 server uses an application called T-HUB which posts to QuickBooks POS.  Or, rather, it used to.  When Inuit upgraded POS to 18 the function stopped working from workstations, but continued to work on the server.  T-HUB support worked for days on the issue and sent instructions for IT (that's the company I work for).  The last thing on the list was to uninstalled and reinstalled QuickBooks POS.  After that the two applications won't work together even on the server. I haven't called Intuit because it's really not a problem with their application.  T-Hub support has pretty much abandoned it.  I  started to think maybe I could find some generic info on the failed SQL connection at the root of the problem but have had no luck.  I'm weak on SQL.  I've included the error messages from the T-HUB log ans the the FAQ they referred to.  If anyone is familiar with this issue or can shed any light or point me in a direction. I would appreciate it and my customer would appreciate it.

I am looking for someone to create a custom reaper in QuickBooks

We want to start a new QB's file in Enterprise 2018 given the instability of our current database file.

Currently, the customer is using 2017 Enterprise Edition.  I have created a new file in 2018 and have imported all the lists.  Inventory is a major concern, there are over 3000 items and it looks like the price and cost have transferred, but not quantity on hand.  Is there a way to migrate that data outside of contracting a third party?  How about from Excel?

Site to Site VPN using Quickbooks Desktop and Quickbooks POS.
I do not see why multiple Quickbooks POS desktops at different locations over a Site to Site OpenVPN would not work.  Quickbooks sales is stating so but it feels like they just want to sell larger more expensive multi-store licenses.

Does anyone have any experience with trying Site to Site VPN setups with Quickbooks POS talking to other Quickbooks POS systems as well as Quickbooks Desktop?
We are currently running Quickbooks Pro 2018.  We import invoices from a CSV on a given day.  However our accounting person then goes through customer by customer to send an invoice.

What we are looking to do is two parts.  First we would like to generate a list of invoices for just the customers with invoices that were imported that day.  Lets call it 20 invoices, once we have that list, we would like to click to email them, but also attach that customer's aging report with that invoice(without having to bounce between a million screens).  Currently she is doing this all manually and its a nightmare.   Any help here would be absolutely amazing.
I've moved quickbooks files to a new computer everything works, but when I try to get into an old invoice it doesn't find the bill attached it to.

Can I specify a new location for those invoices ?
I need some help in estimating the time it would take to build a QuickBooks server.

Currently  8 Users who need access to QB. 3 other users in the main office who don't need QB access.  10 users on remote jobsites with variable hotspot access that I was thinking of leaving in their own Workgroup if possible. Current environment is a standalone QB server in a Workgroup - no DC/AD as the OS is Multipoint Server. All users on O365.

So, I'm scoping out the project but need help in estimating the time.  Proposed server to have 8-10 Cores, with 4 Hyper-V VMs.  8 HDDs RAID 6

VM0: 2 Cores, 4GB RAM: ADDS Server - File & Print, DNS, DHCP
VM1: 4 Cores, 16GB Ram: RDSH, QuickBooks
VM2: 2 Cores, 4GB Ram: RDBroker/GW/Web
VM3: 2 Cores,  8GB RAM: SQL

In addition to the server build time, I have to factor in the time to add 15 Office PCs (11 LT/DT & 4 Surface Pros ) to the domain and transfer profiles.   What are reasonable times to factor in to this build?

Hey, we have been having a strange problem with our Quickbooks POS ver 13 multi user installation in a club setup (4 machines). Customers have to recharge their accounts before ordering and the big problem we have is discrepancies between current and available balances. However, the sale transactions are posted in real time but the balances take seem time to synchronize(happens  to a random member account irregularly ) and we have changed the LAN routers and cabling and the problem is still persisting. The charge to account is posted after some delays of a few hours. We have integrated the solution to Quickbooks premier for financial exchange. Our company file is 500MB big and the connectivity tool doesn't post any errors. The environment is available for remote access any time. Any pointers?
I had this question after viewing Importing an iif BILL into the Expenses tab???.  I still cannot figure out how to create an iif bill that will import with ITEMS rather then EXPENSES.  I cannot find a sample iif anywhere that will import into QB2016 with bill items.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: just a very simple example of a minimal iif that creates a bill with items.  I have found some example IIF's that are very complex and when I import them as a test they always create bills as "expenses".  The items tab is always empty.  Is it a problem with accounts not matching (between the iif and my QB company file)?
I have been using QuickBooks for more than 2 years and now I am facing problems like login issue and different errors. I don't know where to seek help. Please suggest me anything you can?
QuickBooks Problem: bcp47mrm.dll error when attempt to print

Solution: Windows 7 problem - Download and run QuickBooksDesktopPDFTool then from your computer run "C:\Program Files (x86)\Intuit\QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions 18.0\reboot.bat"

Substitute QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions 18.0 with your version.
May also happen with Windows 2008 and 2012.
