How can assembly links to electronic component? so that we can operate the component through the coding? some sort like programming the robotics.

what I mean is that Is there are an assembly code that can link the output port (such as COM or LPT) to the electronic component so that I can control the electronic component and also show the electronic diagram which suit the code.

Is there any web site that discuss this matter on a practical way? (basic one, for eg: controling the led (more than one)on and off through assembly coding.
if you can please list more address that talking about this matter in practical way?

I'm trying to write a 1 player card game and I'm stumped on how to go about telling the computer what card to throw. I'm not very experienced in natural intelligence, never mind artificial intelligence(lol). Any clues on how to go about the Ai process would be appreciated. Is it just a matter of if this or if that, or is there more complex formulas involved. Where can I go to reference AI?? I have alot of points built up, so a helpful answer will get some good bonus points.Thanx, Karl

Hello I am looking to put together a robot and am wondering if i can control it thru the computer.. I heard that you can do it in qbasic... all i need is simply to know how to send a signal thru the port so ie. i can make a lightbulb blink... i know how to program in turing and a bit of qbasic and turbo pascal

Mark252 (or something) can you post the source you told me about (to the program sending emails to the right users when the sender typed the addy wrong) and.. where can I learn how to 'learn' the computer to do advanced operations?

Like a overview how the computer must 'think' in order to do things only a human normally would be able to do.

Apprechiate.

Hey!

I am interested in artificial intelligence, but it's not what I really know best. Yesterday I downloaded some manuals from some scientific institute.. I could hardly understand the titles.

So here I am, wondering how to learn more about it, and perhaps be able to use in in visual basic.

One thing I am not quite sure of is what's called ai. When does a code become ai? Can you cann the code in Word97 that makes a filename from what you've written - artificial intelligence?

If you have any information readable for people without 10 years experience, please tell me.

Thanks in advance

I know this is a general computing question, but does anyone  know of any VB code that enables the computer possess artificial intelligence. For example, a Connect Four computer player. Please include an explanation on the general concept when designing applications/ games which allow the computer to mimick human intelligence.

Your expert advice will be justly awarded.

using a PC. Can anyone tell me what is the best and easiest way to accomplish this?. I know VB programming.
Please leave a comment and I will choose the best solution. Sorry, but I will reject any answer.
Thank you very much.
