Exploring SQL Server 2016: Fundamentals

Learn the fundamentals of Microsoft SQL Server, a relational database management system that stores and retrieves data when requested by other software applications.

I'm after recommendations for a sim card for Travelling to Europe, specifically Portugal, England, France, Switzerland and Italy.

Just want something that is predominantly for data but has enough phone credit for calling ahead to hotels, restaurants etc.  It also needs to work across all the countries without having to change all the time.

Say, what can I do to speed up the Blackberry Q20 ? It's got much slower now with all the Apps installed on it. I have tried uninstalling as many Apps as I can. There is still plenty of free storage space on the phone and the SD card. Memory usage fluctuates between normal and moderate. Please advise.

Hi Experts,

I have a client with O365 and Exchange2016 and PublicFolders.
They sync their contacts from a publicfolder. But this is not possible anymore with O365.

Do you know a solution to sync contacts from a publicfolder to a mobile , like Android or Iphone ?
The solution should work without any user interaction.

Here are the specs on the phone being offered through our carrier.
https://whatismyphone.com/vendors/zte/quest-plus-z3001s

It does not say which version of Android. We currently have Android ? and need 5.0 or higher. The above phone is our "only" choice. Keep what we have (which we acquired about 2 years ago and which has Android 4.4.4) or take the one above which was released last year. Should it have Android 5.0 or higher?

Is there such a thing as a backup software for android, I have my Samsung S9 plus, and am currently using smart switch, which with 78 GB, takes a long time every time I have to backup the complete entire phone. Does someone have software that will do incremental backups on the Samsung phone?

Is there a way to send text messages to a group without displaying the phone numbers / ID's of the members in the group thus achieving the same results as blind copying contacts on an email?  I use both android and ios phones.

My current phone is LG Expressions Plus (LM-X410ASR)
It's only been two weeks and it definitely seems to be slowing.
2 GB Memory
Based on this article, it seems that 2 gb - 4 gb is the standard recommendation.

FEATURES NEEDED ON A NEW PHONE
  • Built-In Wireless Charging
  • Built-In Fingerprint
  • Unlocked for Any GSM SIM

Hi
I am to deploy a large amount of Samsung phones and would like to save some downloading.

I would like to do is to update and set up one phone, the clone that offline to all the other phones.
All software i found, like Samsung Smart Switch, just move data and what apps that should be downloaded.
At the moment a new phone needs almost 2Gb of system updates each.

Any ideas ?

Amazon Web Services

Are you thinking about creating an Amazon Web Services account for your business? Not sure where to start? In this course you’ll get an overview of the history of AWS and take a tour of their user interface.

What methods (bluetooth, custom software, etc) do you
recommend so I can mirror my Android CELL Phone screen
on a Windows 10 Pro PC that cost under $100 ?

Maybe
 1. something already BUILT-IN or
 2. https://www.howtogeek.com/257023/how-to-easily-mirror-your-android-phones-screen-on-your-pc-with-vysor-for-chrome/ or
 3. etc ?

I'm looking for a low to midrange tablet. It can be in used condition. It doesn't need to be high performance. It does need a screen that is easily 100% visible under bright outdoor conditions. Android or iOS, either way. I just need to be able to see a full color display outdoors in broad daylight. Any common screen size will work (it shouldn't be huge but it would be an added bonus if it weren't tiny).

For Whatsapp group, a member can stop receiving further
chats by exiting the group but for a 1-to-1 whatsapp, this
can't be done.

Is there some sort of firewall app to block further communications
with an existing contact party in Whatsapp (as well as SMS)?

I know how to bold & italicize  words/fonts in Whatsapp  (by using  *...*  &  _..._).

How can I make colored fonts (I'm Ok to install an app but recipients of my
Whatsapp text  should not need to install the app) & underline them?

I'm on Galaxy Note4,  latest supported whatsapp (as I could 'Delete Message'
for all recipients).

Have only seen one app that could color the font in blue (but not other colors)

Hi all
I work for a OEM phone vendor. We have a prospective client that wants more RAM in a certain model Android Oreo 8.1 phone to prevent Android’s memory manager from closing the least recently used and RAM-hungriest apps. I propose to provide that by extending the swap partition (thus creating more swap memory) from the existing 0.5GB to 1.5 or better still 2.5GB. The storage is eMMC and there is enough storage (and fast storage) for what I want to do.
Most likely I need to change the partition structure and to do so I expect to have to root the phone. But I also need to be able to “unroot” the phone after. I cannot supply my client with rooted phones. But the other way to do it would be to somehow specify, a swap file (like Windows) on existing partitions. Is that possible? In this way, maybe root is not required? Don’t know.
Either way, additionally, I would like to do this from a command line in order to automate it – hopefully with an MDM/EMM; but that might be “dreaming”.
The volumes are not huge, and therefore, our overseas factory does not want to get involved.
Can anyone help me, please?
Cheers Mikhael

New Samsung Android phone is no longer updating contacts from Outlook.
Prior to switching to a new phone, whenever I added a contact into my Outlook on my computer, the information would update in the contacts on my phone. Now that I have setup outlook on my phone, I cannot get the updates to show up when I add or change a contact in my Outlook on my desktop.
I did notice that the new Outlook mobile version (which comes with my O365 subscription), does not have an actual contact section.
I'm running Outlook 2016 on the desktop.
The phone is a Samsung Galaxy S7.
Help....

I have a Samsung Galaxy S8+ that does not charge properly.  I believe I have determined it to be a motherboard issue related to the PMIC.  I am looking for a company that is willing to replace this piece as I do not have the equipment nor the skill to do it.

The fastest way to make my phone more responsive seems to be to click on the box in the lower right corner of my android.

This brings up the "Recent Apps" list.

Swiping down on this list moves all the recent apps to the bottom, which allows you to click on the "Clear All" button.

This is essentially three steps.

I would like to find a way to make this process of clearing all the recent apps much more seamless and less hassle.

Assistance is greatly appreciated.

Can I buy used iphone in US and use in different country?  Or does it have to be unlocked because there could be a different service in other countries.  GSM vs. CDMA for example.
Please advice.

iOS 12.1.2. This AM when I attempted to attach a YouTube link to a message via the iMessage app--nothing happened. That is, YouTube wouldn't load in messages, though I can open it via the "basic" screen icon, and download links from vids I open there into messages.

Yes, I closed and reopend the Messages app. Yes, I rebooted the phone. Yes, all other message apps work.

Thoughts?

Thanks
