https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/29108461/Peel-Smart-Remote-app-kept-self-reinstall-back.html

Refer to above EE post which is not resolved.

I bought a used Note4 & since receiving it, there's this "Smart Peel remote"
app in it which I've uninstalled it (via PlayStore) : however, the next day,
this app will pop up & when I go to PlayStore, could see that it's installed.

Each time after clicking "Uninstall" for this app in PlayStore, the "Uninstall"
button will turn to "Update" button.

What must I do so that this app doesn't come back (disruptive pop-ups)
again?

The earlier expert suggest disabling it but how is this done?

I have one user (out of 60) whose Sprint phone randomly but often keeps getting the message pop-up: "The SIM card has locked. Please power cycle the device and if the problem persists contact customer service." This was a new Samsung S9. After useless troubleshooting with Sprint tech, we returned the phone for a replacement. After a few days the issue appeared on the new phone as well.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. This is not happening to nay of our other users.

I would like to migrate all data from the Samsung Note 8 to the Samsung Note 4.

What would be the best software to use to achieve this?

Thanks,

I spend quite a bit of time driving and am interested in finding an app or method so that any incoming Office 365/Exchange emails received on my iPhone X will be read to me.

This will allow me to know what the incoming emails say without having to read these emails while I am driving.

What apps are currently available that will allow this to be done?

Is there any way of bringing up or displaying the iPhone notifications screen (that appears on your iPhone with all of your latest email notifications, Experts Exchange alerts, texts, and other alerts) when you haven't used your iPhone for a while?

For example, I always use my iPhone alarm to wake me up in the morning.

When the alarm goes off I will unlock my iPhone and then turn off all of the iPhone alarms.

Then I will want to go back and view the main notifications screen that contains all of the alerts I have described above (instead of having to go to all of my different email accounts, Experts Exchange app, texts, etc.)

How can I go back to this main notification screen?

How can I export the below #2 images ?

Maybe a USBC to USB keyboard convertor ?

---------------------------------------------------

Timeline
 1. Google Pixel 1 Android Phone backed up to GOOGLE online account
 2. most recent GOOGLE online backup does NOT have the last two days
of PHOTOS since the phone was not connected to the wifi/data network
 3. screen cracked, cannot access touchscreen
 4. need a way to plug an external keyboard
to export above #2 last two days of PHOTOS
 5. only phone ports are usbC and a 3.5mm audio,
therefore below "micro usb to usb cable" will NOT work

https://forums.androidcentral.com/general-help-how/369754-how-do-i-get-my-pictures-off-my-phone-if-i-have-broke-screen.html
says you can use a micro usb to usb cable to plug in a keyboard and type the key lock code

What apps or methods exist that will allow me to have a second phone number assigned to my iPhone (similar to Google Voice)?

I am a Sprint PCS subscriber and really liked the Google Voice service that replaced the iPhone phone number with my Google voice phone number everytime that I made a call using my iPhone. My Google Voice phone number would always show on other people's caller ID whenever I would call them.

However, this Google voice integration with my Sprint PCS service ended on 6/1/18 due to security upgrades and Google not producing an updated app.

So I'm currently looking for a replacement app or service I can subscribe to that will display an alternate phone number every time that I make an outgoing phone call using my iPhone X.

What apps or services are currently available that will allow this to be done?

Hi Experts,

I'm a new Android user and recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy S9+ 256GB for myself. All worked fine for a while on Google Play website, where I could download any app from the store and have it installed on my phone. Recently though, I'm getting the following error whenever I try to download an app via the Google Play website:

Error on Google Play Website

I've checked and triple checked that my Phone is associated with my Google Account. So why am I getting this error and how can I resolve it? I've tried it in all browsers installed on my Windows 10 Pro box.  Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer. Same problem with each browser. I did nothing with my Google Account that I'm aware of that should cause me to have this error. The phone is connected via USB and I can download any app I want using the Play Store icon on the phone, just not from the website?

Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can resolve it, please?

Many thanks for any help.

After many years of using iPhone's, I'm now a new Android Phone user and have just purchased a Samsung Galaxy S9+ 256GB 4GX for myself and I'm finding the transition to be difficult.

A mate of mine on EE has explained how to get apps from the Google Play store but rather than bug him privately all the time with my endless questions, I thought I'd raise a question here and hopefully get some answers to my most pressing questions at the moment.

1.  On my iPhone, I had utilities and was even able to just use Windows File Explorer to transfer things like pictures and videos to and from my computer. Yet I'm having a lot of trouble finding something that will allow me to do this with my Samsung.

What I basically want (and I'm more than happy to purchase) is something which will allow me to view my Samsung in a Window/Utility that lets me copy individual things like Movies, Pictures and so on, both to and from the phone. Surely a tool like that exists for Androids as well?

  • Recommendations for tools that are available for my Samsung would be highly appreciated.

  • Please provide links and advise if you have personal experience with using what you recommend.

  • BTW, I know how to google, but doing so just makes it more confusing :)

2.  I currently use Smart Switch which was recommended to me by Samsung Support Chat as a way to Backup my Samsung (and restore if needed) and more importantly, to be able to Syncronize my Outlook Contents with my phone.

OK so I want to build a cell phone using a Raspberry Pi.
I'm not sure what module to get. Does anyone know. Some are advertised as GSM/GPRS and some as 4G/LTE.
I know GSM is the way to go but still confused when the description doesn't say they handle 4G/LTE.
And any suggestions on the best module to buy. Don't need blue tooth since the Pi already has that and has Wifi.
P.S. I usually buy my componets from Aliexpress.com. Slow delivery but cheaper price, good quality and selection.

I need to find a group texting solution for Android where responses go directly to me, and not back to the group unless desired.

Assistance is greatly appreciated.

I have ordered a Google Pixel II XL smartphone. It does not have a 3.5 audio jack. It does come with an adapter from C USB to 3.5 audio. That is fine for audio, but I wish to be able to charge the phone at the same  time. I am assuming that if I can locate a "One in, two out" C USB adapter box then I could charge and listen to audio at the same time. Can anyone search the multitude of items on Amazon and recommend a device that will accomplish this goal? Also acceptable would be one C input and a 3.5 output along  with a C USB port for the charging cable. I have no idea if such an item exists. Can you locate either or both of these items for me on Amazon?

Hi,

I just got a new Cell Phone (Samsung Notes 8).

My old Cell phone is Samsung Galaxy S4.

There is a steps to TRANSFER the files from the old to the new cell phone.

Question: What is the meaning of TRANSFER of the files? It means that all the files would be No more at the old cell phone or the files just being copied to the new cell phone?

I would like the best way to text from a desktop or laptop PC without knowing the carrier?
There are a few ways to send a text message from any PC but you have to know the person's smartphone carrier.
Then you create an email to the person's cell phone number followed by "@" and the carrier's domain.
But unlike a cell phone, there is no need to lookup the carrier.
I have about 180 physicians with their independently owned smartphones, and I would like to send a text to all of them or a small fraction of them.   I would like to do this from Windows 7, or 8 or 10.
Thank you.

Good Morning Experts,

I am looking into implementing the following solutions and I doing some research to find the best solutions for the items below:

Mobile Device Management Solution (MDM) -  Looking to use this for Mobile phones (Apple and and Androids) and Windows devices.

Data Loss Prevention Solution - DLP

Network Load Balancer software or hardware -  I think if using this item in our Exchange 2013 environment running a DAG.

Any thoughts and recommendation on the above  item are greatly appreciated.

If you are currently using any of these  solutions in your environments, please let me know.

Thanks

Hello,

I'm using an iPhone to synch contacts to a Microsoft Exchange server.

When I enable synch for Contacts, it lists much more than what I have in my Exchange, Contacts folder.  It seems to be pulling contacts based on email correspondence from my Inbox.  This is resulting in contacts that I don't want listed in the Contacts folder.  I just want it to list items in the Contacts folder.  That's all.

I can't seem to be able to find the settings to configure this.  Can this be done?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Real-Timer.

Does the iPhone X have a delete button?

While typing, editing, or modifying emails or texts I sometimes find the need to delete letters or words that are in front of the cursor rather than behind the cursor.

So what do I need to do so I can delete these characters in front of where the cursor is currently located?

We require our staff to use MobileIron MDM and read their corporate emails using
MobileIron's  Email+ (a secure email client by MI).

Several staff read Bloomberg's BFW (Bloomberg First W)  news which is not in
http nor https format but  bbs format which MI can't load though this could
load in Apple IOS partition.

Q1:
Does Bloomberg offers http or https  instead of bbs ?  It's the
trading staff who subscribes so I don't hv Bloomberg's support
access

Q2:
We have logged a case with MI & MI ack'ed they can't support bbs:
Bloomberg was supposed to be used globally, so how is it that MI
can't support it.  Any workaround?

Have a building that needs internet access and the the people that were inside said that using their smartphones would be fine.  Here is the problem:  The building is steel and they cannot get cell service AT ALL.  So of course no internet with phones.  Is there a solution to this by placing an antenna or something outside of the building and running a cable to a wireless router inside that the phones can hook up to WIFI?  Or is there a better solution for this scenario?  I was hoping not to have to pull in an internet line that is not there at the moment.
