Hello.  I've been fighting with my new Netscaler ( - Netscaler is a MPX9700 FIPS)/XenApp 7.15 (Windows 2016) environment a bit.  I am able to successfully get to the StoreFront site directly.  If I try to go through the Netscaler Gateway, I get a 'Cannot complete your request' error.

In troubleshooting, determined we also need to change the port for the acting STA's (Delivery Controller's) to use port 8080 instead of port 80.

I am able to telnet from StoreFront to the Delivery Controller's on port 8080.
I am able to telnet from the Netscaler to the Delivery Controller's on port 8080.
I have verified that the Delivery Controller's are listening on port 8080 by doing a netstat -t.

However - within the Netscaler console, Within the Netscaler Gateway under VPN Virtual Server STA Server Binding, this shows the connections as down.  I have included the port in the path.



Any thoughts on what I am missing?

For years I have used Plantronics Supra binaural headsets along with the matching Plantronics headset amplifier/interface M10 or MX10. ( I am not at that location now.) I have the requirement that my phone audio be crystal clear at all times. I have never had any problem with clarity until yesterday. I never had considered VOIP because my internet speed was not ideal. Several months ago I got fiber and my up and down speed is 1 GIG with pings at 2ms. With this super speed I thought that VOIP would be an acceptable choice since it would save me more than 50% of my phone bill. Now that it is installed I am told that my transmitted voice is somewhat distorted and there is some sort of slight crackling in the background. I cannot live with this problem. I spoke to level one of tech support last night and he confirmed that I was indeed distorted. I have another line that utilizes the MagicJack. I phoned the tech on that line and the distortion was still present. I also switched from my headset and amp combo to a regular phone on the business phone system (Avaya Partner) and the distortion is still there. Level two is supposed to get back to me today and begin troubleshooting the problem. I was just wondering if any Expert has encountered this difficulty before? With such incredibly high isp speed the is the last thing that I had expected. If an Expert has any ideas please let me know.

Hi, I have a question for VPN peer IP address. I have a block of public IP addresses I can use. One of them of course is assigned to the public facing interface on my firewall. I need to set up a half dozen site-to-site VPN on the firewall with external agencies. What is the pros and cons of using the interface IP address as the VPN peer IP address for all the VPN sites v.s. using the different public IP address for each individual VPN sites? I am thinking maybe using unique IP address for each VPN peer makes it is easier for tracing and troubleshooting issues, but that's just my random thoughts. Is there a set standard and reasoning as to how you should assign IP address when there are multiple VPN peers?

Also, when it is necessary to NAT the VPN encryption domain (interesting traffic) to a public IP address, is it recommended to use an IP address other than your VPN peer IP address? It seems like using the peer IP for NAT works just fine, but I was told once it's not recommended with no clear explanation.

We are using a RUT955 router running a OpenVpn server to software client. Specifically we have one host running OpenVpn client (local ip connecting to OpenVpn Server on the router with network

One way communication traffic from client to server lan works as expected, but we also want to initiate traffic from the server side to the client network.

We have tried to configured certificate and network according to instructions i section "Server to Client" in

However we are unable to ping and connect to the client network. We can ping the virtual interface of the client from the server side.

I am moving from XenApp 6.5 to XenApp 7.15 and publishing my applications.  I think i have figured out the Delivery Groups and Application Groups, but not sure how to publish an application to 1 specific server.  We do this sometimes for applications that are only installed on a couple of servers in the farm vs all or for one specific to be used for Troubleshooting purposes.

I found an old post regarding using Tags to do this but don't really see how to apply that properly.  And didn't seem to be a resolved question.

So how do I duplicate this kind of Published App in 7.15?

Strange thing today.  My computer monitor messed up and just replaced it with a temp monitor.  All works fine but Netflix won't.  It gives error:

The strange thing is that I only change the monitor.  If I move the Netflix apps to the notebook (my computer is a notebook with an external monitor connected), it works, so it seems it's the monitor.

The setup is:
- the notebook has an USB connector
- in that connector is a Insignia USB to Hdmi and an USB cable connected to the monitor.  I had this same setup with my old monitor.

Please let me know whats going on or is it a configuration.
I have a 2008DC that I need to decommission.  I shut it down just to make sure it wouldn't cause any problems when I remove it and when I did that I had one developer that had issues logging in to any of the servers he normally accesses with his credentials.  He also couldn't access any of his mappings for Microsoft Visual Studio.  I'm not really sure where to start troubleshooting this issue
Setup: Workgroup environment, with a file server. Windows 10 Pro, running on a desktop.
Problem: This one user's desktop freezes solid on an average of twice a week randomly, could be in an Excel spreadsheet, last time it happened using FB from a web browser. Cannot reproduce.
No other users in a similar role experience locking up.
Troubleshooting done: Replaced a laptop with a PC, that means the user profile was recreated (being in a workgroup environment) and loaded everything from scratch.
Checked Event Viewer, no real clues in there, see attachment.
I just recently installed an Edgerouter 4. It was working for a week and now, I cannot get any device to connect to the Internet that's connected to the Edgerouter. I used the Basic Setup Wizard. I've updated the firmware to 2.0.6. I've plugged only the PC into Eth2 and also tried Eth3 and Eth4. The computer gets the IPV4 that the router gave it. I can connect to the router. I see that the router is getting a WAN IP on eth0. I see Tx and Rx on that interface. Right now it's at 10.4 Kbps Tx and 6.25 Kbps Rx. It shows connected but it doesn't matter what device I connect up to it--they cannot access the Internet. I've reset the Edgerouter 4 a few times and tried a few different configs in the wizard but everything doesn't get the devices on the Net. I can connect any device directly up to the CABLE modem and get an external IP similar to the WAN IP on eth0 and those devices can browse the Internet. Can you please suggest any other troubleshooting ideas? From the device, I can ping the WAN IP and get 1ms responses. If I try to use the Ping tool, it doesn't have any responses. It just says 0 packets sent and 0 received. Thanks in advance for your help!
Have 3 node RDS 2016 deployment, 1 Session broker and 2x session hosts.  One of the hosts seems to be really slow, so while troubleshooting I want to disable logins and force users to use the other hosts. So from the host i want to disable I ran "change logon /disable" and then on the SB i right clicked on that host and disabled new connections. Now when users try to use the rd web, they get remote logons that tells me still trying to use the disabled host.  How do I do this?

I am troubleshooting an employees personal PC. It is a Dell laptop and has a tag that says Inspirion 15 3000 Series.  She is getting this  screen:

"Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info, and then we'll restart for you."  After that, there is a scan block and the wording "For more information about this issue and possible fixes visit"

What is a simple solution?  Can I "Restore" from an image and if so, what is the best way to do that?

Also, this is Windows10 and I am not sure how to navigate, really used to Window7Pro.  Any navigation instruction is helpful.
I have a PC which boots till windows logo and reboots. Window7 64 bit.
We tried system restore, but it fails replacing a part of the AVG antivirus.
During the troubleshooting process the MoBo died. Now I have the harddrive and am trying to install it in another PC, but am still running in the same reboot issue, after which it tries to repair without succes.

Any idea how to proceed without reinstalling?

I am looking for an interpretation of “Make certain you do not have mismatched channels between devices.” Does it mean that the client and the AP, have to be on the same channel? If yes, I thought that the laptop would scan the different channels to find out which one is associated with the SSID.
And I am also aware of two APs (access points)sharing the same SSID, would have to be on the same channel and this must be what the author is referring to when he said”Make certain you do not have mismatched channels between devices.”

Does anyone disagree?
I cannot access a shared drive from Win 10 Pro PC on a Win 2012 server.
Troubleshooting done:
- Pinged server successfully by IP address
- Pinged server unsuccessfully by NetBIOS name
- Did an ipconfig /flushdns still not able
- From the server can ping the workstation by both IP address and NetBIOS name.
- It is a workgroup environment

I am a noob in the Admin Sys side of things, and at home, I have set up a test lab. My question is regarding DNS setup; I've set up the AD, DNS, server however when I add a test laptop to the domain I need to add the DNS IP manually under IPV4, I can ping the IP address however I can't ping the domain name.

At work, when I add a computer to the domain I don't have to put the DNS IP manually, it will automatically find the domain. Doing my own research and troubleshooting, I noticed when I add the server AD IP on my home router UI in the DNS section, it will find the name and ping the name automatically however internet will not work.

I would appreciate if someone can explain why this is happening and give me some pointers on what I am doing wrong.

We have a web site that connects to a database stored in Azure. This is an intermittent error we receive:

Is this an issue on Microsoft's side?
Is anyone by chance have any background with E Automate?  One of my users is getting a MAPI error when trying to send an email from E-Automate.  I attached the screen shot.  They are running Outlook with O365 not sure of the version of E-EAutomate.   No password changes have been made basic troubleshooting has been done, restart etc...  I have a call into the vendor but perhaps maybe get an answer here.  As always the help is appreciated.
Hi, I need help troubleshooting the last 2 errors on the results of a PCI compliance scan for my server for my SSL certificate on port 21:

"One or more certificates in the chain cannot be validated."

"The certificate's issuer certificate could not be identified. Errors in the certificate chain prevent the certificate from being verified."

The certificate passes all tests in all other ports but port 21.

My server configuration:

Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 7.6 (Maipo)
Plesk Onyx

Could you please give me some assistance as to how I can resolve this to be able complete validation on this scan?

We have remote users that use Skype for Business 2016 client for phone calls, IM, and Skype meetings.
We have on premise Skype for Business Server 2015.
We have more complaints about dropped calls or meetings recently and trying to troubleshoot.
Should I be looking at the tracing folder on the client PC, or should I be looking at the server?
VoIP - My customer reports that their phone lose connection to the hosted service every day.  They have to reset multiple times per day.

I will be onsite sometime tomorrow (April 11) - hoping to be able to access some expert assistance.  Meanwhile, if somebody could point me to a link that I'm sure exists, to help me in troubleshooting VoIP.  I'm good at networking, but have minimal experience in troubleshooting VoIP.  Thanks in advance.
Rewriting post to make this more concise:  Any assistance is appreciated.

Configuration:  Netscaler MPX 9700’s pointing to StoreFront 3.15 VM’s (Windows 2012), pointing to XenApp 6.5.

Issue:  Authentication failure when trying to login thru both Netscaler and Storefront.  Narrowed down via troubleshooting, seems the StoreFront is not passing traffic to domain for authentication.

What is logged in Event Logs on StoreFront Server:
  • Security Log:  
  • Event ID 4625            Unknown user name or bad password.
  • Citrix Delivery Services Log:       
  • An authentication attempt was made for user: testuser that resulted in: Failed (Windows Error Code: 1326)  Password expiry information was requested but none was returned.
  • StoreFront Splash error when accessing URL:  "Incorrect Username or Password"

DebugView log:  
  • An authentication attempt was made for user: testuser resulting in: Failed (Windows Error: 1326)      
  • Citrix.DeliveryServices.Explicit Warning: 0 :    
  • Expiry information was requested, but none was returned  
  • Citrix.DeliveryServices.Localisation Verbose: 0 :  
  • ResXNamespacedResourceManager found value 'Incorrect user name or password' for key 'ExplicitCore:Failed'
  • I can telnet the Domain Controller's/Active Directory from StoreFront over port 389, success.
  • Loopback to onUsingHttp is set in StoreFront.
  • None of these attempts are logged on the Domain Controller itself.

Any additional thoughts on how to troubleshoot this?
