Virtualization is the act of creating a virtual (rather than actual) version of something, including (but not limited to) a virtual computer hardware platform, operating system (OS), storage device, or computer network resources. Virtualization is usually the creation of a system that executes separate from the underlying hardware resources, or the creation of an entire desktop for systems located elsewhere, similar to thin clients.

How to install and configure VMware ESXi 6.0
In this video tutorial I show you the main steps to install and configure  a VMware ESXi6.0 server.
The video has my comments as text on the screen and you can pause anytime when needed.
Hope this will be helpful.

1. Verify that your hardware and BIOS settings support virtualization.

Make sure your computer is properly configured for virtualization as explained here.

2. Boot from Installer media

Insert the bootable media and boot the server from it.

3. EULA

Accept End User License Agreement.

4. Verify storage configuration

If you use RAID, you must configure it before you start this installation.

5. Enter your root password

This is a very important safety element and should be at least 7 characters long.

6. Proceed with the actual installation

In this stage the installer software will start to copy all files to the server's storage.

7. Reboot

Once all files has been copied to the server you will need to reboot. You will have to remove the installer media or modify the boot sequence to start from the server local storage first.

8. Boot from ESXi Server

The ESXi 6.0 Operating System will load, and you will be able to see the Online screen.

9. Logon with the root credentials

Logon with root privileges to modify the configuration of Management Network interface.

10. Configure a static IP address

It is better to use a static IP address for the host. Make sure it is unused to avoid an IP addresses conflict.

11. Configure local host name and DNS

You can specify a FQDN name for this host. Also you can define a custom DNS suffix for local DNS queries.

12. Access the web interface and download the VMware Client for better management

You must download and install the VMware Client for this version of ESXi to manage this host, or use VMware VCenter.

How to Install and Configure Citrix XenApp 6.5 on Windows Server 2008 R2
How to install and configure Citrix XenApp 6.5 - Part 1. In this video tutorial we have explained step by step installation of Citrix XenApp 6.5 Server on Windows Server 2008 R2 is explained in this video.

We have explained the difference between Application Virtualization, Desktop Virtualization and Server Virtualization. It is very important concept to understand.
In this video we'll learn about installation and configuration of Citrix XenApp 6.5 on Windows Server 2008 R2.

I am assuming that you have basic understanding of Application Virtualization and you are aware of the advantages of application Virtualization.

If you are not sure about the application Virtualization then I'll quickly run through the concepts of application virtualization

What is application virtualization?

Application Virtualization means that an application is not installed in the traditional sense,  although it is still executed as if it's there. The application behaves at runtime like it is directly interfacing with the original operating system and all the resources managed by it.

In lay man terms.

Application Virtualization means that you have not installed application on your device like laptop, desktop or mobile, but it can be accessed from the Server.

I'll quote an example to make it more clear.

Let's assume that you are at client’s location and client share some files like VSD files, for which you don’t have software deployed on your Laptop i.e. MS Visio …
