Voice Recognition

Voice or speech recognition includes methodologies and technologies that enable the recognition and translation of spoken language into text by computers and computerized devices. It is also known as "automatic speech recognition" (ASR), "computer speech recognition", or just "speech to text" (STT). Voice recognition applications include voice user interfaces such as voice dialling (e.g. "Call home"), call routing (e.g. "I would like to make a collect call"), appliance control, search, simple data entry, preparation of structured documents, speech-to-text processing, and aircraft (usually termed Direct Voice Input).

Need a Visual Studio VB script to modify SAPI (5.4) to recognize words such as 'gimmie' in place of 'give me', or 'myname' in place of 'my name'.
I know SAPI provides for this capability; however I am a tcl\tk programmer.

Please advise.

I'm using the Google Speech to Text API on my site where I upload audio files and the API converts it to text.

All of this piece is clear and makes sense.

What I'm wondering is if there is a way to make the text be formatted in the Chicago-Style Citation as well during the process?  Is this a function the Google Speech to Text API offers already or is there a library out there already that can do this?

Thanks!

Is there a tool/program that I can feed it an audio file and it will create an audio snippet of words mentioned by a voice with searchable metadata?
The goal is to create those types of gags where you have a collection of words mentioned by someone, and then you just create something silly with this.
What is this even called?  Sorry, I'm not an audio guy. Any tools for this? Should I attempt to make one in C#?

For my MS C++ application, I want to add text-to-speech, and then perhaps speech-to-text later.  Is there any reason to use something other than Microsoft Speech Platform?    Some other toolkit SDK that would somehow be more advantageous?   Thanks!

I am having trouble with the Bixby voice assistant. It was working fine until a recent update. Now I cannot get it to recognize my voice and when I use the Bixby button the Listening mode is so short I can't say anything before it gives me a message saying it could not hear what I am saying.

Hello there!

I reecently bought Dragon premium version 13 for my new windows 10 lenovo. It won't install. When it gets to the loading screen it just sits at status 0% forever. I've been trying to download it for hours now. I've rebooted my lap top 3 times, moved the files from the CD to a USB stick and it still won't install. Any advice? Thanks!

Hi,

I just ordered Amazon Echo. I saw on the internet that Echo can be connected to Philips' bulbs and you can use voice to control them. I wonder if it is possible that I connect Echo with my Loxone Smart Home?
Thank you in advance:)

what is the best audio editing software
I have an audio file that has multiple people speaking on it.
I want to reduce the sound of one/2 persons and enhance  the voice of other person. it looks there is some hiss sound and some kind of noise. I also want to remove it.

in short I could say.. I a looking for a software that has the capability to split multiple sounds edit/enhance them individually and then save it.
