Stop pop-ups appearing on the bottom right corner.

Hi Experts,

advertisement pop-ups keep coming up on the bottom right corner on windows 10. I believe it has something to do with the browsing but I couldn't find anything on the chrome that's enabling that. Other windows 10 users have also complained, any idea how to disable that annoying function?

But in JavaScript Chrome \b won't work with Unicode texts.

What would be the correct equivalent in JavaScript for the above .Net expression?

(I am referring to the latest versions of regex/regexp)

How to get safari on my iphone to sync my bookmarks from a gmail account ?

Between PC on chrome - works
On iphone via google ap - works
on safari - I think it might be sync with icloud or something else ...

How to get safari ap to do likewise on my iphone.

hi,
could be a simple one
am changing computers.
so from old computer. i exported passwords from google chrome
in new compueter- i dont have option to import password in chrome again.
same chrome version on both computer Version 78.0.3904.108

i did research, everyone says go to "chrome:flags" - search for password import and export, enable and would get an option to import password.

but if i go to "chrome:flags"- search for password import - nothing comes. no search result.
i tried in different computers running windows 10 windows7 - did chrome stop doing password import ? ? or am doing something wrong ?

Hi Guys, the mobile site we have here for https://holidaysarecoming.net isnt appearing properly in Chrome, it looks fine in FF and incognito Chrome, i thought it could be a cache thing but i have tried purging the cache on Cloudflare and its showing me this, it should be showing like

Pop up ads lower right corner, extinct until Nov. 25

I went to extensions ( not add-ons) in Google settings and also to my control panel and programs. I saw nothing to identify these lower right hand corner popup ads. I used Malwarebytes and it found nothing and Trend micro finds nothing, I cleared all chrome data. These ads were x rated and now not so.
Within the ad you see: Google Chrome - www.heavy-r.com.
Is there a setting in Chrome to stop these or should I remove Chrome? I do see a option in the settings to restore Chrome to the default.
This started early yesterday and never before. When they pop up which is every 5-10 minutes, if I ignore them they close. When they re-appear an annoying sound.
Close does nothing and open just opens another window to some site,

Windows 10 Browsers (chrome, EI, Edge) will not connect

Multiple browser death on Windows 10

Hello Experts, Yesterday we had a windows 10 box become unusable. Browsing using Edge, IE or Chrome fails to connect and display a webpage (locally or to the Internet)

DNS resolves.
I am able to ping IP addresses both locally and on the internet.
wireshark shows the requests going out and data coming back.
Antivirus is up to date, the system runs clean.
Malware bytes also runs clean.

There is unusually high disk utilization and we are currently running chkdisk on it ...

Any ideas on what would knock out the browsers?

hi, im using google chrome last time when i search something in chrome it will show google search algorithn but now it show other search algorithn call losx.xyz. how to fix. i try to uninstall and install back cannot.please assist.

I noticed just right now that my Mobile bookmarks folder in Chrome had suddenly disappeared. I would like to know why did that happen and how do I restore it or create another folder if possible?

How to open PDF links in Adobe Reader in Chrome?

Is there a way to configure Chrome to open PDF links in the installed Adobe Reader DC - rather than opening them in the built-in viewer (which is not as capable) or downloading them (which is not as convenient)?

I got a new Lenovo laptop (Windows 10), and somehow a browser program called "Chromium" got installed. I am trying to get rid of it, but the usual uninstall program doesn't work. It seems to start - then gives me choices for saving settings (none of which are the settings I want), and won't let me continue with the uninstall unless I select from the settings choices they offer. This seems very troubling. How can I get rid of this?

Firefox Bookmarks Settings

Firefox 70.0.1 in Windows 7.

My Bookmarks (Bookmarks menu > Show all bookmarks) is laid out as:

All Bookmarks
Bookmarks Toolbar
Bookmarks Menu
Other Bookmarks

I save my bookmarks in separate folders I create under the "Bookmarks Menu".

When I used to bookmark a page using the option "Bookmarks" menu > "Bookmark this page" I was shown a dialog where I could choose an existing folder for the new bookmark or could create a new folder in which to save it. At some point over the last 6 months or longer (I can't remember for certain) the bookmarks are saved automatically in the "Other Bookmarks" folder and all I see up at the Firefox hamburger icon is a green "Saved to Library" notification.

I cannot find any settings in the "Library" window (Show all bookmarks) or in Firefox "Options" to force that original dialog to show so that I can choose where to save each new bookmark. Any ideas?

I've tried Chrome portable browsers but they still auto-import proxy from the registry.
I need portable browsers as no privilege to install : only portables can install without
admin rights.

I need a browser to be able to use Whatsapp.web.com on my PC:
Whatsapp indicates only Chrome, IE & Safari (& 2 others that I can't recall) could
support Whatsapp web. I've tried Opera portable but it also imports the proxy
& it's greyed out ie I can't edit it. Somehow Safari portable requires admin
rights to install, quite odd

How to resolve this error. My application is Django application on back end and Reactjs on front-end

I had to make an api call from my front end. I was getting cors error. The things I had done for this is as follows:

I had made mode:'no-cors'

will this cause an error?

Where are my Firefox downloads??????
I downloaded a group of large files using Firefox but the browser didn't ask me where to store them. the actual names of the files are convoluted and I don't remember their names.
And they're NOT in the downloads folder.
How can I find them.
When I asked to download them, all I got was this dialog box:

how to install google chrome browser via SCCM

I downloaded the standalone offline installer (about 57MB),

One issue, if you install the exe while the browser is open, it needs to close to apply the update or click relaunch from the browser. But via a script, how can we do it.

The deployment script.bat working fine at a local computer, but when I deploy it via SCCM its installs the chrome but not closing the browser and displays some message as chrome installed without administrative.

Anyone have abetter idea to install/update chrome, please share

Our application is designed with Caspio tools, and they only support 4 browsers with the latest versions.

They wrote for us a utility that will keep track of which browser/version the users have used to log into our app.

How do I determine if for example those two stored versions below are the latest or not?

Hello Experts!

I am working on asp.net application in asp.net technology the application is very old around 10 years back.
I am using this configuration in web.config:

As we know that Session hijacking means if someone steal/copy session cookie and paste it another browser then the one can access any inner page of the web application.
how can we stop the session hijacking so that if session cookie is pasted in another browser we can redirect such request to the login page.

I copied this way the cookie so that I can paste in another browser and open inner page.

Add a right-click context menu item in Google Chrome

Does anyone know if it would be possible to add a menu item to a right-click context menu?

As a part of my on-going test drive of browsers, I've discovered that one particular browser displays certain pages better than another, so what I currently do is right-click a hyperlink, copy the link and then paste into the other browser windows address bar.

What I'd "like" to be able to do, (using Google Chrome) is right-click any hyperlink on any given web page and select a menu item like "Open in Brave Browser" so that the page will automatically open in Brave, even though it may not be set as the default browser.

Possible?

I'm writing some selenium automation using c# in Visual Studio with NUnit and Chrome browser. In the webpage there is a Yes button which opens a new window.

The webpage states - Do you wish to proceed Yes / No?

Answer [Yes] a new window opens and then another new window within that has a [Print] button

When the [Yes] button is clicked in Selenium the new window opens but the click event does not complete, the code hangs on the click and then throws a timeout error after 60 seconds. It looks like the new window opens and completes i.e. there is nothing to indicate the new window is still loading, nothing is spinning. To resolve this i enclosed the click in a try catch to handle the error. However the next section of code then times out after 60 seconds as well.

By complete chance i left this code running on the try-catch in debug and found that if i sleep for 9 minutes (so thats 10 minutes in total including the 60 second click timeout), then the code continues without any further timeouts. If i reduce the sleep time the timeout failure re-occurs.

My Google Chrome history is not syncing across all devices, i.e. from my iPad to my PC desktop. I used to be able to view iPad Chrome history on my PC, but it is not there.

I checked my settings on both devices, and still, the iPad history is not there. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I would like to know if there is a solution to this problem that I have had for the past few months with my Chrome browser. This is a 2 part issue. First, When I click on some links in Outlook 2016 to open in my default browser or Secondly, When clicking on some links in Chrome, The webpage opens up in a maximized fashion, things are not in order and it looks like things are scattered in different places. When I click F5 to refresh the page then things go back to normal. I already uninstalled and reinstalled Chrome. Have the latest version. Running it with no extensions and now I only have 4 extensions, but I highly doubt that the extensions that I currently have are the culprit. Can someone please help me with a solution for once and for all to end this problem. I will include a screen capture of a link that was opened from Chrome .
