I have a client who needs to determine the size (amount) of data he is uploading on a fillable web page. I know there are sites to determine a website and/or web page size, but how do you determine the size of the data you want to upload?
I need to write down automated tests for a website.

There are countless tools / frameworks but before even starting I need to understand how to tackle the authentication challenge.

The website has automatic authentication using Windows Domain (Kerberos) but I don't know how I can use a test tool and allow a specific domain user to be the one running the test (and, therefore, the browser).

Can you maybe provide a solution or point me in the right direction?

Thanks for your help and patience.
I would like to know is there anyway to add to chrome context menu send to desktop as in IE browser? If so please outline an easy fix for that. Thank you.
Internet explorer and Edge does not open webpages giving the following error: There was a temporary DNS error. Try refreshing the page.
Error Code: INET_E_RESOURCE_NOT_FOUND. When accessing the internet with Chrome, it works without any problems and you can access any website. I have reset network settings and also flushed the dns and cleared everything in the browsers. Nothing made a difference. Any idea what is causing this? Windows 10 pro is the operating system and this problem started about 2 weeks ago.
Hello Experts, I want to keep my default browser as IE/Edge but for a specific URL that I could send in an email I want o force the use of chrome.  Is there a simple solution?

Scenario - I am in a corporate environment and our default browser is IE, that won’t change.  I have a solution I am rolling out that requires the use of Chrome.  Users will have a difficult time copying a URL and making a shortcut etc. I want to be able to send an email with a link and have it us Chrome with an internal url.

I was working in Zendesk (using Chrome). At one point, I think I was searching for something (via CTRL-F) and I thought i saw the message "Bookmark Added" flash on the screen. is it possible I  hit some sort of hotkey to add a bookmark at the Chrome level?

I'd much rather it be that than an accidental bookmark insertion in Zendesk.

Every time I search using Google in Firefox I get this crap.

In Chrome, it works fine.

How do I get rid of this & prevent it in the future?

VMWare Client Integration Plugin v6.2 (For Internet Explorer 11 and Firefox Ver. 66)
VMWare Client Integration Pluginv6.0 (For Google Chrome Version 73.0.3683.103 (Official Build) (64-bit))
on a
Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 (64-bit) PC.

What Works
- ISO upload to VMWare vCloud Director Catalog works using Internet Explorer 11 only (does not work with Chrome and Firefox) on the PC.

Workaround in place - Console Content Access works for all the same VMs via a Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard Server from within the same environment (setup by someone else not contactable)
(This Server will be decommissioned soon - so need the console working on the PC before the server gets decommissioned)

What Does not work
– VMWare vCloud Director WebMKSConsole Content Access – for any VMs – using any Web Browser (IE, Firefox or Chrome)

Get the following screen – doesn’t matter whether the URL is DNS Name or via IP Address.

Troubleshooting done
-      Added DNS Name to local host file on PC (which made the ISO upload work)
-      Reinstalled VMWare Client Integration Plugin v6.2 , v6.0 and v5.6 after uninstalling, reinstalling and rebooting a number of times.
-      Added Firewall Exclusions on Local PC for all profiles (Domain, Private and Public)
-      Installed the Valid Certificate for FQDN in Automatically Selected Store and the Trusted Root Certificate Store.
-      Tried Troubleshooting described on various VMWare Website and Forums – some were unclear.

Does anyone know if there are any Gmail extensions that auto delete specific emails from specific senders after they have been read and sat for say 3-5 days in my inbox.....automatically. Like a rule sort of but runs to check the inbox for say a daily alert.
Here is an example I get a daily balance from my Wells Fargo accounts that say what my balance is or if there has been any activity.
is there a feature or extension that will look at emails from Wells Fargo that are either opened and sat in inbox for 3 or more days and delete them automatically.
Or If I watch the TV show Frontline on PBS and it tells me that a show is airing that night.
These kinds of emails are great. I just forget to delete many like them and they build up.
Also I noticed that some businesses or marketing emails from companies constantly send messages I do not need. EVEN AFTER SETTING THEM TO UNSUBSCRIBE OR PREFERENCES IN THE PROFILES THAT THEY BUILD...!
Is there a way to manage all that excess junk crap etc that just builds up.

I want to get to a place where all my emails I handled every day had a place for completed archived deleted or work still in progress. The big thing is to clean up else my Tiny Mind will get overloaded with junk and I will develop a brain fog I cannot navigate. Any good tools or extensions for gmail that do that. Primarily the auto delete part?
I have a client with a MacBook Pro running Mac OS X 14.4.4 - Mojave. Today, out of the blue, anytime they visit a website where they login, they are prompted to enter the computer password...every time. How did I stop this from happening?
I am running a Mac Pro 14.4.4 with Chrome Version 73.0.3683.86 (Official Build) (64-bit)

I manage Google Apps for our Domain and I seem to be signed in TWICE, one with a personal account and one with a Work account.

What I mean by this is that the icon next to the Hamburger menu is "Paused" and has my personal Gmail Account signed in but when I login to my Google Apps (e.g. Mail.DOMAIN.com) it shows my work account.

Does anyone know how to resolve this? Ultimately I'd like to be signed in ONLY to my Work email for this computer and enable synching of bookmarks.

Do google chrome books store WiFi passwords?

I ask because I would like to connect a guest to a WiFi network, allow them to get what they need from the Internet, then immediately disconnect them from WiFi.   I am concerned that the password to our WiFi network may remain on the chrome book even when the connection is deleted.
Delete content on the browser forms

I would like to delete the old information displayed on the browser forms
for instance, there are some Webpages that still keeps information that I have previously entered.
I am using Chrome and have  tried the "Clear browsing data" on the settings page, but it did not help

Any help will be very much appreciated

I have an 1803 Windows 10 Pro machine which has developed a very strange problem.

When an application, eg chrome or the file explorer is in maximised view, the title bar at the top and all of its contents just vanish. A blank bar will appear to replace the title bar and when you click on it it acts in such a way that whatever program is open behind it will come into view.

Using F11 to go in and out of full screen mode makes no difference, I've updated all graphics drivers and made sure all apps are up to date along with Windows itself. The only way around this is to have the applications opened in a none max state. I can minimise using Windows Key + Arrow Key but this isn't a solution I want to give the customer.

Logging in and out work temporarily but eventually returns, restarting the file explorer from task man doesn't do anything.

I've tried testing on another profile but it would appear it works fine as does the affected profile when it is first logged into.

Any help would be appreciated.
Any suggestion on how to go about:

When I sign in to Amazon it asks for a verification, even though I have checked "keep me signed in".   How do I get the browser to remember my sign-in credentials?

How can I stop this????

Reset Chrome to default.....Uninstalled Deleted Chrome folders Rebooted then reinstalled fresh.....Still does the same thing??????

I would like to know how to open links using Chrome in a maximized fashion every time? I already tried to maximize the window and then pressing Shift or Control and Close the window . It works for a few times then it goes back as before. I right clicked on Chrome icon in Taskbar and right click properties and then selected open windows in a maximized fashion and still no luck. Thank you.

I am having some resource issues with my laptop and went to Task Manager and found this. With only 4 tabs open in Chrome all day. It seems to show 36 different session open. Strange. Why does this happen and should I be worried or should I stop them? End Task?What is chrome doing here?
I have this code, a small snippet of a much larger program:

function save_proj() {
	alert("sesname = " + sessname);
	if (ps != "Y") {
		if (save_sel == 1) {
			window.location = "sel_save.php?fr=";
function chk_skip_summ() {
	if (nosumm == "1") {
		window.location = "send_email_ls250.php?ddocs=" + ddocs;
	//show body
    document.getElementById("container").style.visibility = 'visible';
<!-- Global site tag (gtag.js) - Google
Analytics -->

<script async

window.dataLayer = window.dataLayer
|| [];
gtag('js', new Date());
gtag('config', 'UA-96994211-3');
<body onLoad="save_proj(); chk_ems(); set_pointers();">

Open in new window

I have run this in Chrome with the debugger on . It shows no exceptions.

The full page loads & sits, which is what it should do AFTER it goes to sel_save.php, that program updates the database with some things, then returns to here.

But how can the alert be avoided.
This one takes the cake. I am obviously missing something obvious.

(1) Simple php program

// proj_summary_mu.php
include "db_connect_nb.php";
$pid = $_GET['pid'];
include "pdf_MU_project.php";
// use fpdf_merge to put together
include "merge_MU_pdfs.php";

Open in new window

(2) File pdf_MU_project.php attached.

Note there is ONE echo in this file. It never shows.

(3) The last few lines of pre_package_mu.php. This is significant, because the real problem shows this as the program being executed, which is NOT true.

	// do the project summaries
	header("Location: proj_summary_mu.php?pid=". $pid);
	//header("Location: package.php?pid=" . $pid);

Open in new window

(4) Browser display of code as run (attached) . Earlier today I had echos that show this; they have bee removed, I have checked source on the server, they are NOT there. I ran it in FireFox AFTER clearing the cache. Don't know how to clear cache in chrome. Ran it there, identical result

As best I can see, this is impossible.
How do I set the default browser via batch or powershell script in Windows 10? I need to override Microsoft Edge as the default browser and replace it with Internet Explorer for a customer. What would be the best practice for going about this?
How do I get rid of a google chrome extension called directionsfinder.co? I accidentally downloaded it when I tried to download Google earth on my windows 10 desktop. I used to have Norton 360, but now I have free McAfee through my cable subscriber. A Google search said it is a browser hijacker and a virus and that I have to reset Chrome. Will I lose all my other add-ons, extension, bookmarks, etc?
We have a few Windows 10 Machines running Chrome in Kiosk mode running a specific web site.  The problem is every once in a while we will get a full page add in a new Chrome window that covers the Kiosk web site we are using.  Any ideas?
