I will be doing some traveling and hope to have a printer I could carry easily, and perhaps even stick into a suit case.

I would print envelopes, normal sized pages (8.5X11) and sometimes precut Avery labels.

What things should I consider?

Thanks.

Dear Experts

We would like to send promotional emails to the prospects . I understood it is recommended to have the content in the HTML versions as our creative agency provides us the image only, should we have to ask the creative agency to provide raw .psd versions and we have to hire  Htmlization services  and get it in the html versions. please suggest thanks in advance.

Looking an an easy or automated way to put borders around pictures, black borders. In the perfect world would like to "select" all the pictures and "simply apply" the chosen black border to them. Possible? How? Thanks!

My company needs to purchase a laptop for our graphic designer who does high end projects using the Adobe Create Cloud.  Can someone recommend a laptop.  The laptop will need a hard drive with lots of Terabytes for space.  How much RAM, type of graphics card, processor should be considered and any other system resources you can recommend to get.   Laptop must run fast with good redundancy in case of hard drive failure.  Screen size is 17 in.  Laptop manufacturer is flexible as long as the laptop is super good.

In order to post my book on Amazon, I need the PDF to be less than 650 MB. I found many PNG files and cut their sizes dramatically by converting to JPG. I also reduced many JPG files' size equally drastically. But the PDF output does not get smaller.

I use Word for Mac 2017

What could the problem be?

I have a bunch of JPG's and need to reduce their file sizes significantly. What tool can do this for me?

I also have PNG files which I need to convert into small JPG files. Is there a tool for each?

Thanks

Word (Mac) 2017:

I find the PDF I create is huge and suspect not all images are JPG.

How can I convert them the easiest? One problem, Word has lots of images tools but the filename and file type seem to have been lost on import.

Thanks.

I need to edit an MP4 file, but need a free tool for this. I mainly need to chop of the start or end, or remove a slight "hiccup" in the middle.

What can you suggest?

Thanks

Hi,

Is there an application that allows you design (similar to Photoshop) that then allows you export the whole file to html incl. CSS. I know Photoshop has a plugin that you export CSS but this is only per item and does not preserve the item's relative location.

Any pointers is appreciated.

Thanks

My Mac version (2018) of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC

has different "PDF Fixup" options than the ones described on this link.

https://www.bgsu.edu/content/dam/BGSU/graduate-college/doc/instructions-for-acrobat-pro-XI.pdf

My window looks thusly:

Their "PDF Fixup"

but theirs looks like this:

I have an Adobe Illustrator folder that contains the .ai file, PDF and other formats.

I need to upload a PDF book cover to a website to print copies of the book. But I get this error:

FONTS NOT EMBEDDED IN THE PDF: We require that all fonts be embedded. Please submit a new file with all fonts embedded. You may refer to the File Creation Guide for further instructions on creating a compliant PDF.

I have Adobe Actobat Pro on my machine, and presume I can add the 7 fonts contained in the Fonts folder to the PDF.

How do I do this?

Thanks

I get a daily dilbert cartoon in my inbox. I save some of them. Right click, save image.  I can choose png, gif, bmp, jpg and maybe some other formats.

Any thoughts on which to choose? At least for these types of web images.  Not for something like a 4K high res image.

I'd like to keep it small, but as clear as original / no loss of quality.

Dear EE experts,

Good day!
Apologize if we don't know how to explain the subject clearly, we would like to ask for tech advise support on what is the best software program that we can use for our requirement project (simple animate program).
Here's what we would want to happen:
- a software that will show the list of our products (small image only)
- after clicking one product, the image has different parts that can be clicked, including the removing of the product's cover (so the user can see what are the assemblies inside of it.
- inside, will show the parts, and when the user hover to one part, it will show some info such as Date updated, what are the update of it.

Basically, we want it to be animated a bit...

Thank you and hope to hear soon...

I used the PhotoShop slice tool to make 40 images from the 8X5 matrix, out of one image. I will use these images, side by side, and display them as puzzle pieces making up the one large image.

PhotoShop create GIF files. Why did it create GIF's?

I have made a few animated GIF's and understand that multiple image can fit into on GIF.

Curious why PhotoShop made this a GIF.

Thanks

I have the online manual, but can not read the buttons described in it.

http://gdlp01.c-wss.com/gds/2/0300023632/01/pssx620hs-cu-en.pdf

For example, page 74 seems to discuss deleting images. But look at the button in the manual. Even with reading glasses I can not identify the button on the phone.

Please explain how to delete all images but with clear simple instructions.

Thanks,

I'd like to turn this image into an icon using PhotoShop CC.

Please explain how. I'll need to play with it to het it to the right size.

I see I can simply adjust the Width value and the aspect ration is maintained.

Is this the right way to do it? I notice the size of the canvas dd not change to the small size.

When I try and reduce the canvas size to match, I get the attached

Clipping error.

Thanks.

I am using Word to create a PDF and wonder if it's possible to create an image with "hot spots" which are links to other parts of the PDF or other web locations?

TheImage would probably start as a PNG. I wonder if I can select regions in the image and give it the HTML equivalent of an anchor tag?

Or, is there a way using PhotoShop to create some other form of document type that s clickable?

Thanks
