I'm having trouble getting the slideshow on this page https://www.bluecompasscamps.com/camps/ranch-camp-island-lakes/ to float to the right of the text. The camps on this site are set up using the custom fields for the section with camp type, age, dates, etc and the excerpt box for that small paragraph above them which is the only place I can add the slideshow shortcode, so unfortunately I can't work with the actual layout code and instead have to rely on css alone.

Anyone see what I'm missing there?
I'm in the process of migrating a Wordpress site to a new domain / server. I'm using a plugin called "All in One" and it seems to be really intuitive, but I had a question.

At one point in the process, you're confronted with a message that says anything beyond 512 MB is considered beyond the scope of the free utility and it gives you a link to something called, "Servemask." (https://servmask.com/products/unlimited-extension).

I'm wondering if this is something I could do on my own. Meaning, if this is nothing more than adjusting the php.ini file, could I not do this myself without the utility or is there more to it than that?

What do you think?
My client has a free cloudflare account. A new developer is having difficulty with the website, and wants to adjust cloudflare's settings to try to get it to work better. But the developer is afraid that they might not succeed and will not be able to return the settings to the current values.

Is there a way to save and restore these settings?
If not, is there a way to get a printout or some type of copy of the settings so that someone could go through this list and change the settings to these values?

THank you.

I have changed part of  an old Drupal Site to a Wordpress site in a subdomain.

The main part of the Drupal site still exists, I have just taken the shopping cart portion and built it in a Wordress, which sits in a subdomain

I am trying to redirect the old product pages ot the new ones, but my htaccess code is ignored..

Options +FollowSymLinks
RewriteEngine on

Redirect 301  /cgi-bin/commerce.cgi?preadd=action&key=A30-E https://resources.beststart.org/a30-e-risks-of-cannabis/

Open in new window

I have tried writing the redirect a few ways, all are ignored..  Redirect, RedirectMatch 301, redirectPermanent, etc.

I do have a lor of products as well, it would be good if I could do a wildcard for all /cgi-bin/commerce.cg*
Proper way to override a class method.  I have asked this question before in a different manner but am trying to make sure I do it right.  In WordPress / WooCommerce, in the checkout functionality, they have the CC expiration date as numeric so there is no way to give an expiration date of 11/21.  You can not use the separator, so no one on an ios can check out. (at least on the site I am working on)

I need to override a Class method that extends another Class.

Here is the actual Class and Method:

class WC_Payment_Gateway_CC extends WC_Payment_Gateway {

public function form() {

I need to override form().
So in my functions.php file do?
class My_Extending_class extends WC_Payment_Gateway_CC extends WC_Payment_Gateway {

public function form() {

Something like that?  Also, how do I initialize my code so it works?
I am trying to modify my wp-job-manager template.

I have an image, and a bit of HTML code I want to show only on certain jobs. I'm using the post-IDs but it's not working.  Basically, if the job is postID19672 then I want a different layout on top, then the rest of the template.  I'm just getting a white page at the moment.

the page is here -- webpage

Hello, I am adding a donation page to a WordPress website I am working on. I want the visitors to be able to go to this page and have a few options such as $25, $50, $100 buttons and a field to input the amount they desire to donate if they prefer more or less. My question is I prefer to keep the person within the webpage and not taking away to a portal to make the donation. I was thinking pay pal but wanted to get some feedback from you guys before I just go with Paypal. Are there any services / add ons that you prefer when incorporating something like this into WordPress?
I've inherited a Wordpress site and it appears that someone used absolute links on the home page (the index page).

When I login to the Dashboard, I cannot see anything related to "index" or "home". In fact, I've gone through each individual page looking for clues but still can't find it.

The theme they installed and are running is called Genesis.

They also installed a "Simple 301 Redirects" plugin, but there is nothing there that would indicate a home or index landing page.

How can I find the "index" page of this Wordpress site?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.
I am using WooCommerce 3.5.6 and WordPress 5.0.3 on a local Xampp system.  I need to put some links at the top of each product page that relates to the digestive system and immune system category.  Here is a screenshot of one of the category names.

Here is my code

add_action( 'woocommerce_before_single_product_summary', 'thp_single_category', 11 );
function thp_single_category() {
if (is_product_category('Digestive System') ) {
	echo 'Something else';
echo '<a href="/digestive-process-sp-266">The Digestive Process</a>';
} elseif (is_product_category ('immune system')){
echo 'Something else';

Can anyone tell me why this isn't working?
Hi there!

I have a Wordpress site and would like to implement a Members Only area where people would sign up by providing their first name, email address and a password, and this would open up a new area of my site.

Would I do this using a plugin?
I've been tasked with moving a Wordpress site to a new host. I've got a rudimentary knowledge of Wordpress and I wouldn't think that moving the files and updating the database config file would be especially difficult. But I'm apparently missing something and I need some input.

The current site is https://www.studweldfast.com/. After copying all the files and changing the database to the correct settings, here's what I'm looking at: http://weldstudpro.com/.

The theme appears to be Executive Pro. I've activated that theme and I'm still looking at something that doesn't come close to the original / what I'm expecting. I've been able to locate the images that I would expect to be present and they are on the new server, but nothings being displayed.

What am I missing?
Looking to move audio player from development site.

Hi Guys, i was wondering if i could move the player thats here (when you hit play) to the main site https://iradio.ie (when you hit listen live)

I cant seem to find where the first player lives

I am using a front end form

<?php acf_form(array(
‘post_id’      => ‘new_post’,
‘new_post’      => array(
‘post_type’      => ‘job_listings’,
‘post_status’      => ‘draft’
‘submit_value’      => ‘Post a new Job Listing’
)); ?>

It has 3 date pickers, these 3 all work in the dashboard Add Post form, but they are broken in my public add post form

I do not get any jquery errors in my console

In the Dashboard Add form, all the 3 fields date fields pop up with a calendar date picker
Hi Guys,

I was wondering can you help me, i want to move the billboard ad above the title of the page here at https://iradio.ie/123carinsurance and implement the following tracking add on the page, so have it above the 2nd heading "The driving test survival guide" i want it to just show for this page and not every other page on wordpress site?

I thought i had implemented the tracking code, but agency are saying they cant see it

<SCRIPT language='JavaScript1.1' SRC="https://ad.doubleclick.net/ddm/trackimpj/N1397.2105305MEDIACENTRAL/B22239169.241803622;dc_trk_aid=438535703;dc_trk_cid=113136882;ord=[timestamp];dc_lat=;dc_rdid=;tag_for_child_directed_treatment=;tfua=?"></SCRIPT>

I have duplicate SKUs in my Woocommerce Wordpress product table. There are plugins that delete duplicates by title, but I can't use those, as I need to preserve duplicate titles. How can I find and delete the newer record that has a duplicate SKU?
I am having a couple of issues with a WordPress site, and think that they are because of either the theme, or the fact that I moved some files from directory to directory and something got corrupted... The website is www.thehandlebarredhealer.com

First - The first issue is that quite often when I am editing pages or working from the dashboard, there is a brief moment in the upper-left hand corner of the screen when some text appears that says "Search a icon", and "loading" - please see this video and watch the red area in the upper-left corner healer-theme.wmv.  Also whenever I print a report from Formidable Forms, the same image of "Search a icon" appears in printed reports.  Please advise as to how to fix this problem.

Second - There is a gap that I find too large between the social media icons in the header and the blog title.  Any solutions as to how to tighten up that space would be appreciated.

The right section of the header: It seems like the first row of elements are somehow overlapping the second row so that the links for blog, gift certificates, etc can't be clicked.

I've not taken care of the responsiveness yet, so you need to view in your browser at least above 1210px width. If you also see quickly what css needs added for the logo and right section to stack at 1210px and below, that would also be great. I've been fighting with these two issues for so long I'm just not what what I'm missing.

Thanks for any help.
I'm having trouble with the alignment and width of the sub menus in the main navigation at the top below the main header: http://makandainn2019.staging.wpengine.com/

The menu items in them should be aligned to the left on the background and the background be behind all the words, but you can see right now the words are outside of it on the right. I'm sure I'm over looking something simple. Appreciate any help.

I am having trouble figuring out how to have modified css applied to an existing WordPress site.

- WordPress 4.9.9
- Apache

I would like to know:
- How to change the looks of the website

- I don't know which scss files are loaded by web browser. There is no scss files under application directories. You can actually find multiple scss files are loaded from the developper console.
- I have 'main.css' that seems relevant to scss files used to style the website. CSS properties can be found in 'main.css' but browser does not use 'main.css' to rendering purpose. Instead, it seems to use .scss files since look of the site does not change by modifying 'main.css'.

Other note:
- There seems no SCSS related plugins are installed.
- This WordPress website was developed by freelancers who I am not in touch anymore.

Live preview site:

I have been googling for long time, but not successful so far :(
Any advises are welcome. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Installed new Microsoft Server 2012 R2 with new MySQL 8.0, PHP 7.2 and wordpress 5.1.
Server is functioning correctly however when I download a plugin I get this error:
cURL error 60: SSL certificate problem: self signed certificate in certificate chain

I downloaded the newest cacert.pem file and placed it on the server in this directory:

I edited the php.ini file in this path C:\Program Files\PHP\v7.2 to this:
; A default value for the CURLOPT_CAINFO option. This is required to be an
; absolute path.
;curl.cainfo =
curl.cainfo = "C:\php\cacert.pem";

However, I'm still getting the same error "cURL error 60: SSL certificate problem: self signed certificate in certificate chain" when I download a plugin.
Can you provide any suggestions on how to fix or bypass this?
Hi WordPress Experts,

I'm wanting a way to retain a change to a theme function file, even if I update the theme.

I’m using WordPress 5.1 with the AccessPress Store 2.3.6 theme and the WooCommerce 3.5.5 plugin, and the (free) theme provider told me that if I want to increase the number of products which show on a page, I should edit wp-content/themes/accesspress-store/inc/accesspress-function.php, modifying line 624, as follows:
623: function accesspress_store_loop_shop_per_page($cols){
624: return 999; # Changed from 12 to 999 to show 999 products per page
625: }

Open in new window

The change worked, but when I asked them how I can make it so that change is not overwritten every time I update the theme to a new version, they couldn't help.
I assume this involves making a child theme, and somehow including that function (or one like it) in it?
How could this be done, please?

Attached is the entire accesspress-function.php file, in case you need it.

BTW, what is the point in the theme coming with it's own functions.php file, and a inc/accesspress-function.php file?

I’m reasonably new to WordPress, but I’ve done programming and know a little PHP.

We are using the Word Press theme BEE. We need to edit a few pages. When we go into wp-admin & select a page, it no longer has the "page Builder" option, so we can no longer make any changes.

Can someone provide a link to tech support on Bee to ask them a question, or, if one of you knows....?

Hey there, I'm having a problem with a string replace not working as it should.

Basically, I've got a button link on my home page - https://cretecarrier.com/ - (Hunt Flatbed APPLY)
The link is https://intelliapp2.driverapponline.com/c/hunt?r=CreteCarrier-Homepage-HUNT-APPLY

Now, I also have a tracking function which stores UTM codes as cookies. I also use it to append it to url's.

So an example, i click a google add which takes me to our websites.  https://cretecarrier.com/?utm_source=the-big-test

In theory, what should happen is the link - https://intelliapp2.driverapponline.com/c/hunt?r=CreteCarrier-Homepage-HUNT-APPLY . should change to https://intelliapp2.driverapponline.com/c/hunt?utm_source=the-big-test . BUT it is changing to https://intelliapp2.driverapponline.com/c/hunt?utm_source=the-big-test?r=CreteCarrier-Homepage-HUNT-APPLY

How can i, if i come into the site through an add with a UTM code, change the url from
- https://intelliapp2.driverapponline.com/c/hunt?r=CreteCarrier-Homepage-HUNT-APPLY
- https://intelliapp2.driverapponline.com/c/hunt?utm_source=the-big-test

Here is my current code.
function set_ad_cookies() {
  $vars = array('utm_source', 'utm_campaign', 'utm_media');
  foreach ($vars as $k) {
      if (isset($_GET[$k]) && !isset($_COOKIE['orig_'.$k])) {
          setcookie('orig_'.$k, $_GET[$k], 0, '/', $domains['cookie_domain']);
    if (!isset($_COOKIE['orig_utmsource'])) {

I have very infrequent needs to create or edit websites.
In the past I've used Dreamweaver but it's really too old to install on Windows 10 so I'm stuck with it on Windows 7.  I'd like to replace it.
Also in the past, I've used tools that the hosting company provided.  That turned out to be most unfortunate as the tool I had used was, one day, just gone.  And gone for good I might add.  So I'm very leery of using tools hosted by the hosting company and would like to stick with a local app.

Suggestions?  I don't want to spend much money on this because I rarely need it.
I looked at WordPress but it seemed too "bloggy" ... if that makes sense?
