How to Clean Up Your WordPress Database

The purpose of this video is to demonstrate how to make a WordPress Site faster and smaller in
size by cleaning up the database.

This will be demonstrated using a Windows 8 PC. Plugin WP Optimize will be used.

Video Steps

1. Go to your WordPress login page. This will look like the following: mywebsite.com/wp-login.php

2. Go to Add New under the Plugins tab and search for WP-Optimize. Install and activate.

3. Click on WP-Optimize tab in dashboard.

4. Select the Clean-up Options which apply to your site.

5. Click Process.

6. Do this occasionally to clean up database to make sure that the site doesn’t have too much unnecessary junk slowing it down.
