The purpose of this video is to demonstrate how to manually back up a WordPress Database.

This will be demonstrated using a Windows 8 PC. The Host used will be IPage.com

Video Steps

1. Log into your Hosting account. IPage will be used for demonstration

2. Locate PHPmyADMIN. This is usually in a section called Home, or is listed as a subsection of Databases.

3. Select the Database you wish to export or back up.

4. Once in PHPmyADMIN, click on EXPORT.

5. Select Zipped compression and hit Export.

6. Save the exported file for future use or reference
