The purpose of this video is to demonstrate how to set up the permalinks on a WordPress Website.

This will be demonstrated using a Windows 8 PC.

Video Steps

1. Go to your WordPress login page. This will look like the following: mywebsite.com/wp-login.php

2. Go to Settings – Permalinks

3. Click on Post Name setting. (If such a setting isn’t available, click on custom structure. Enter “ /%Postname%/ “

4. Go to any page on website other then home and refresh. User/SEO friendly permalinks should now work on your WordPress Site.
