In this video we show you how to install the windows feature called "Telnet Client". You can use Telnet to verify if a port is open for email like port 25 or 587 to ensure if mail flow will work to your smart host as an example.

Video Steps

1. Open Server Manager

Click on start and click on Server Manager.

2. Add items to Server

Click the link on the Server Manager page to install a new item.

3. Select Telnet Client

A new window will show, click through it till you reach the features section and then scroll down and select "Telnet Client". Complete the installation on Windows Server 2019
