In this video we show you how to remove an email alias from a distribution group using PowerShell. We launch the Exchange Admin Center (EAC) and show you the addresses before and after the removal.

Video Steps

1. Launch Exchange Management Shell

Click on start, expand Exchange Server 2019 and right click on the Exchange Management Shell and run as administrator

2. Type in command

Type in the following command to remove an email alias from a distribution group: Set-distributiongroup mygroup@tlab.local –EmailAddresses @{remove='mygroup2@tlab.local'}
