In this video, we demonstrate how you can leave the option enabled to show recent items in the start menu and windows explorer or turn the option off to not show any recent information.

Video Steps

1. Open Settings

Click on start and then click the cog wheel to open settings.

2. Navigate to System

Click on Personalization.

3. Click on Start

Click on Start within Settings.

4. Change slider

The very last option is "Show recently opened items....", switch this off if you want to disable it.
