In this video, I will show you how to perform a Physical to Virtual conversion of a Windows computer to VMware vSphere Hypervisor 7.0 (ESXi 7.0) using VMware vCenter Converter Standalone 6.2.0.1.
The operating system used in this demonstration is Windows XP Professional, but the same procedure can be used for any Windows operating system.

1. Download VMware vCenter Converter Standalone 6.2.0.1 from VMware.

2. Install VMware vCenter Converter Standalone 6.2.0.1 on the physical computer to be converted (P2Ved).
Install the software, clicking next to continue, and click finish. Start the VMware vCenter Converter Standalone 6.2.0.1 application.3. The conversion.
Select Convert this machine, and follow the wizard, ensuring you specify the ESXi server IP address of FQDN.4. The job.
Wait for the job to complete.5. Power on the newly created virtual machine.
Check the virtual machine has been converted successfully.
