Coincidentally, this is part of the reason why the Star Trek franchise has floundered.  Ho hum, another alien species defeated, business as usual.  The whole series just became too predictable.

I hear you.  It got old.


The first movie, which did not have all the fancy effects of the other films....was the scariest by far!

I cannot watch it without gripping the arm of the chair....even KNOWING what will happen in advance!!  They did such a good job on the color pallette and the music.
