Outlook reply icon not always working
Hi

I am running Outlook 2003 SP2, with Exchange 2003 SP2.

Microsoft Office has been fully updated from the MS site.

This morning, I noticed a weird occurence....sometimes, if I reply to a mail, the purple reply icon next to it doesn't appear. Sometimes, it does.

Icon is already added to Fields in Customise Current View, and I have restarted Outlook.

Any ideas?

The replied messages are in my Sent Items, so no problem there.

Cheers.

(I take it that you mean the icon that currenty shows an envelope changes to show the same envelope with a litlle purple arrow, indicating you have replied)

This arrow only gets displayed after the mail being typed has actually been sent, or saved.  So if you never actually send or save the reply, it wont get displayed.

Try this: save your next message with CTRL-S before sending it, and see if you get the icon.

Hi

I haven't tried the CTRL-S option yet, but I have replied to a couple of mails (and had responses to them) but there is still no purple arrow on the envelope.

Strangely, on other mails, the purple arrow is there.

Thx
