Error in server log: \xc3\xa2\xe2\x82\xac\xc2\x9 - What is it?
Hello,

I have a bunch of error messages in the server log that look like this:

[Tue Apr 14 05:12:42 2008] [error] File does not exist: /home/mydomain.com/public_html/forum/\xc3\xa2\xe2\x82\xac\xc2\x9dhttp:, referer: http://www.mydomain.com/forum/index.php

[Tue Apr 14 05:02:31 2008] [error] File does not exist: /home/mydomain.com/public_html/\xe2\x80\x9dhttp:, referer: http://www.mydomain.com/index.php

Does anyone knows what's causing them, and how to correct them?

I googled a little and find that it seems to be related to MySQL encoding UTF-8 or something...

Thanks for your comments.

That could be a possibility. I guess we will have to check it out.

Is there a website that I could find out all the different codes and what they stand for?

Thanks again.

Thanks! Incidentally, I found that it is an advertisement code (external) that is causing the error messages. So the problem isn't really local but yet it triggers an error message on our server every time the advertisement is displayed.
