Workstation service not starting and can't change domain
I have an issue where the system properties dialogue is calling up an error. In the computer name tab I get:

"Note: The identification of the computer cannot be changed because: - Networking is not installed or is not properly configured"

Last time I reinstalled TCP/IP to fix this but can't remember how. It is greyed out in the network adaptor properties. Additionally, the workstation service won't start. Any thoughts? The computer is still a member of a domain and can be accessed, but authentication cannot be made to the domain controller in any way.

1) Try doing a System Restore
2) Try running System File Checker on the system. Go to Start > Run > type 'sfc /scannow'
3) If no luck, Repair the OS.
