Juniper VPN iPad
Hi could anybody please try to help me
My wife is trying to connect to her school network via her iPad, if she connects from her dp machine she would go to a URL which would ask her a username and pass word then she would click pin image which from her pin she would type in her given code this would then take her to a page which would launch her connection, this all works fine on the Pc, the only piece of software she seems to have on the Pc is Juniper Terminal Services Client.
So I am trying to be able to get her to connect via her iPad, I have downloaded juniper pulse for the iPad and I have added the URL this then gives me the screen to add username and password and pin image but when it goes to connect the only message that I get is
This Terminal Session is not supported on your computer does this imply mean its not going to work or am I missing something
thanks for your help

HI, i feel that it will work. I have tried an SSL VPN connection from an ipad and it was working fine.
http://itunes.apple.com/in/app/junos-pulse/id381348546?mt=8
For this to work, i had created a new realm in the SSL VPN device specifically for ipad devices. You might have to contact the IT department of the school.

I reckon you'd need pulse for the ipsec vpn into the ssl-vpn to allow traffic, and an "RDP app" on the ipad do actually do RDP (or citrix , i am guessing that's the endgoal ??
I don't think PULSE provides an RDP client, so you'll need an app for that.
i hope this helps you on the way..

Hi I have itap rdp and juniper pulse installed and it still throws the errors

thye same errors, well yes, that's probably because your (wife) still hits a "role" on the ssl-vpn which is set up to start currently has a definition for a terminal session.
It sounds like your wife currently has:
a browser with a terminal services client (on java or activx) that's connecting over an SSL connection.
you need :
a PULSE (network connect) ipsec vpn which will tunnel the "itap rdp" traffic to the terminal server.
If you are not administrating the SSL_VPN, you (well, your wife) are (is) going to need to contact the IT dept.... else the above might crack your case.

Ok i see what you are saying
Given that the IT Dept are not the most helpfull people in the world im guessing i will have to give up on this then.
I know that they will not change anything just to allow this.
