WinPE 4.0 with WIFI
I'm creating a custom WinPE 4.0 for OS deployment and i would like to have WIFI working but I cant get it to work....
I used the instructions here for WinPE 3.1 but this doesn't work in WinPE 4.0 (tested this script on WinPE 3.1 and WIFI working fine).
I have extracted the WLAN part out of above script and included into this script which is for WinPE 4.0
When WinPE 4.0 is booted I run wifi.cmd (created by above script) but i'm getting error messages, see below
Can anyone help me out on this one?
Any other method to get WIFI running in WinPE 4.0 is also very welcome.

I have used Ultimate Boot CD for Windows, Bart's PE builder. ย However, these are sorely out of date..

However, re-reading your post.. ย It does seem you are having issue with loading a dll and found the following which fits like a glove.. ย http://www.joachim-bauch.de/tutorials/loading-a-dll-from-memory/

Hi,
It does indeed look like that WLANCFG.DLL is not loading in WinPE which is a show-stopper given what it does.
I have to ask, why are you doing this in the first place? What is the problem you're trying to solve? Are you trying to do an OS build over Wifi or just want wifi working once complete?
Mike

Hi Mike,
I would like to have Wifi working on WinPE to download the source files needed for OS installation.
Any idea how to get WLANCFG.DLL to work?
Thanks

Hi,
Let's step back a bit. Download from where exactly? Are you using:
From what I've read deploying over wi-fi is not terribly good. I don't know off the top of my head. I suspect either WinPE/8 uses a new DLL or a new method. Why not use a network cable or USB?
I need more context to help.
