Are you getting some kind of error when you attempt to download the drivers using the BC assistant? You do have to have a USB stick in the Mac in order for the drivers to be installed. If that's not possible, you can go to the apple web page and click on Support and search the support site for the bootcamp drivers.
Error Message:-
Download Could not continue.
The Windows Support software is not available.

I've never seen that before. Assuming you have a working Internet connection on that Mac, you should be able to get it... but anyway, a wide variety of BC driver options are available at http://support.apple.com/downloads/#macoscomponents
Be aware that BC 5 is ONLY for newer systems with a 64-bit version of Windows. Look for one that meets the specs on your iMac.
