Manage Wireless Networks (Advanced) on Windows 10
When inside of Network and Sharing Center, "Manage Wireless Networks" is no longer a feature on Windows 10.

However my corporate wireless SSID requires certain settings to be set on my connection for it to work properly, which includes:

- WPA-Professional
- TKIP
- Uncheck "Use Server Certificate"

How do I set this on my Windows 10 PC? What is the alternative method?

Click on the network icon in the system tray.
Click on Network Settings in the popup
IF there are wireless connections set up then there should also be a menu item "Manage WiFi Settings"  Click it.

You can remove any of the wireless connections shown.
You can replace them next Using Set up a Connection in the Network and Sharing Center.

I don't know of a way to "edit" in the normal way using the Windows GUI....  :-(
But you might use PowerShell

OK, I created the connection Manually using "Setup a Connection" in Network and Sharing Center. But still...WPA is not available, only WPA2, and TKIP is not available for "Encryption Type".

I don't know exactly what to tell you except:
Recently I have encountered devices that would only let you select WPA/WPA2 at their end.  This suggests that they would allow WPA - which is NOT recommended.

Thank you for trying. Manually creating it at least gets me closer :-)

Anyone else have any ideas?

Ok, Netsh seems to have done the trick. However I used NetSetMan, a software that basically acts as a GUI for Netsh. All the settings I needed where available, and when you save the profile it sends the command via Netsh.

Very strange is that this means the functionality is still in Windows 10, but it is basically hidden from the front end.

THANK YOU!

Really appreciate it. I totally forgot about netsh

The Windows operating systems have distinct methodologies for designing and implementing networks, and have specific systems to accomplish various networking processes, such as Exchange for email, Sharepoint for shared files and programs, and IIS for delivery of web pages. Microsoft also produces server technologies for networked database use, security and virtualization.
