It's the same "LAG" for all
it's the time that takes the packages of information to travel physically from point A to point B
for example, if you're playing a shooting game and you have 100ms of PING (or lag)
this difference is the time that will time for you to click to shoot and the actual shooting on the server (that's the one which matters).
So for Cisco or any networking, the LAG is when you have a big difference of 500ms or more...
that will make for example a person that smiles on a skype call ( and you see it 5 seconds later) ย which correspond to a lag of 5000 (ms) of latency.
