How to get webex meeting installed on Citrix Xenaap VDA (Application Server)
By default webex installs in the local users hidden folder C:\Users\administrator.ABLEHC.001\AppData\Local\Programs\Cisco Spark\CiscoCollabHost.exe. This cannot be configured in the application location properties. Webex does not allow a choice for what folder to install the application. I tried using the command line install and the webex app runs but gets server access error after launching with user login credentials (after entering UN and before asking for password).
Looking for someone who successfully runs Webex app via Citriix VDA app for multiple users.

Thanks Richard, but that article does not address the issue of installing on the VDA in a folder location that the controller side can browse out to and be consistent for all users. right now the install forces to the roaming profile under each users c:\users\(user)\appdata\local\programs\cisco Spark. This isntall works locally but cannot be dfined per user in the location setup on the controller.
using command line install, I can install to an accessible location but the app errors when trying to sign in.
crazy dilemma.
It is a wonder why Webex does not offer the option for installing in a different folder.

Why not use FSLogix Redirection Rules to force the installed folder to be outside of the profile?

WebEx is actually pretty cool through a Citrix session.
However, WebEx in particular is cause for concern. It would be wise to use Citrix WEM to protect your critical applications and workflows from multiple WebEx sessions running on a VDA. Or they can initiate a WebEx session from personal devices rather than in a virtual desktop session.
You can also use Webex Meetings Virtual Desktop Software is available for Citrix XenDesktop, Citrix XenApp with Desktop Publishing, and VMware.
