Would love to hear everyone’s thoughts on this piece. It never would have crossed my mind that these tubes would be vulnerable for ransom attack.

It's definitely crazy how those tubes can be susceptible to hacking, it just reinforces that everything has a weakness or vulnerability nothing is invincible technology-wise. I think another scary one I saw on the news in the past were the hacks on Ring devices. Once read about even fish tanks on CNN being leveraged in cybercrimes too. :(  There have been some really shocking and bizarre attacks overall throughout the past decade.

    Definitely crazy.  Reminds me of the hospital that was essentially shut down because of ransomware. https://www.newsweek.com/cyberattack-throws-southern-california-hospital-system-offline-days-1588355

    Does make you wonder if some of the devices that are networked really need to be.
