In this Video, we’re going to talk about one of the HOTTEST TOPICS, ChatGPT. So, quickly stated and simply put, ChatGPT is a Generative Pre-trained Transformer model (that’s the ‘GPT’) part. A transformer model is a type of artificial neural network ideally suited for working with the nuances of language because of its ability to process training data (words/sentences) all at once, in parallel rather than sequentially using a function called ‘attention.’ The “Generative” part means it is designed to create new output (text), “Pretrained” means it’s ready to go for us – no training of our own required, and I already spoke about the “Transformer” part.
